Justin Trudeau dodges calls to resign amid former attorney general’s allegations in bribery scandal

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has dodged calls to resign over allegations that his administration pressured the former attorney general not to pursue a criminal investigation against a powerful engineering company accused of bribery.

Ex-attorney general Jody Wilson-Raybould testified to a House of Commons justice committee on Wednesday that senior officials uttered “veiled threats” against her in an attempt to convince her not to file criminal charges against SNC-Lavalin, headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. The company, which says it employs more than 52,000 people in about 100 countries around the world, is accused of bribing officials in Libya with millions of dollars between 2001 and 2011 to secure government contracts in the African nation.

MSM in Canada got $600M of taxpayer money from this corrupt government.
They (MSM) are minimizing everything the t~~~s do and are heavily left leaning to begin with. Damage control doesn’t even have to start from this party as the MSM is already doing it for the most part.
This particular t~~~ does not have the integrity to resign, his family never did.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

This is a very big deal in Canada right now! I didn’t think non-Canadian MGTOWs were interested. Leader of the Official Opposition, Conservative Andrew Scheer, is pushing for an RCMP investigation because a criminal investigation is the only one that ‘counts’. It’s very likely that the PMO has violated the Canadian Criminal Code on ‘obstruction of justice’ and ‘intent to induce fear’ in the Attorney General. Canada’s previous Attorney General (Jody Wilson Raybould) was fired form her post because she refused to try to influence the Director of Public Prosecutions on the SNC Lavalin bribery case. There were no legal grounds to deter the bribery case from going to court (ref Deferred Prosecution Agreement) and Wilson-Raybould just told Turdeau to STFU about it so he fired her.

The RCMP will neither confirm nor deny that there is an ongoing investigation into the Criminal Code violations allegations. More Justice Committee testimony is scheduled for this coming week…

In this case the Turd going down is possible but not very likely. Even though the violations of the Criminal Code are quite obvious the RCMP haven’t announced an ‘official’ investigation and they are not likely to do so unless they are reasonably certain that they can lay charges. The RCMP are a federal police force so they don’t want to bite the hand that feeds them unless convictions are likely in the extreme.

The best that we can hope for is that all this criminal activity will dampen Turdeau’s chances of reelection this coming October but even that might be too much to hope for. The Liberal government is still doing comparatively well in the current polls trailing the opposition Conservatives by only a couple of points…
