Brexit may finally become a reality after the landslide conservative win. The much lesser known Wexit of western Canada alienation post October election still is brewing. Alberta +/- Saskatchewan may separate from Canada. The pot is simmering.
This is interesting to the USA why…. hello divorce slaves …the Independent country is going to be the next “Dubai”…want in??
Here’s the run down : We propose zero income tax, zero state/provincial tax, 5% International Corporate Tax ( to at least compete with Bahamas offshore tax) 7% Domestic Corporate tax (you are using our water and sewers) Only municipal and school tax that applies locally.
We do not respect any UN agreements, divorce or family law of Canada or US agreements. We don’t even want to join the UN unless there’s a referendum. NO DIVORCE AGREEMENTS recognized. Well, that stops the “slavery”. We will try to espouse that no able bodied working adult should have to bear the responsibility of another adult capable of working. Children’s situation not worked out. We will install tolls on our highways, but that’s the only tax to make sure Government runs and roads are maintained.
Even Bill Gates and Warren Buffet should look at this, no estate tax either! Wexit is not the domain of a few nuts…it is a serious response to what started the Boston Tea Party…no taxation without representation and we’re not represented so we are serious about leaving. The climate here is even if all the demands are met…..we’d still want out. It’s a “master of our own house” kind of response…from the gut. Divorced men… prepare for a reprieve….I talked a USA oil and gas representative and she could not believe hoe SIMILAR Alberta was to Texas!!! Welcome to a true “Lone Star” country. My gut felling is Trump would LOVE us ( I’d bet there’s between 91-96% CAPITAL “R” REPUBLICAN response here. From the land of “Texas North”, Xmas Greetings to all!

No. It won’t. 100%. Mark my words. Not without a bloody uprising French Revolution style, and even then, the people won’t do what’s necessary. It will NEVER come by vote or by parliamentary decision. Ever. Period.

Trump and the republicans took nothing for themselves or their people. “Conservative” is just a clever word to keep intelligent men calm and in constant waiting.

This is clown world. Thinking Brexit will happen is like thinking you’ll come out on top at the casino. It will never happen.

It should be noted that all the parties (Tories, Scottish Nationalist Party, Sinn Fien) that gained in the recent UK election want some form of limited autonomy, or full independence.
