BTW, the upper cut was considered because of the height difference (she’s 5’5″, I’m 6’2″) and I considered the possibility that I could meter the power of the punch enough not to break or permanently damage anything. At least, I had hoped so. But I wasn’t confident enough to take the risk. As much as I wanted to shut her up, I’m not a fan of prison. Plus, there’s always the possibility of a broken jaw, broken teeth, spinal/neck damage and the remote possibility of severing the tongue. And death…..this is a woman we’re talking about. A hook, jab, slap, or straight right to the face or side of the head would have left a mark. My momentary fantasy of clobbering her for her verbal diarrhea wasn’t to put her into the hospital. I just wanted her to shut the f~~~ up. As they say, all’s well that ends well. I got laid, a free vacation, a valuable life lesson, no jail time, and a good story to tell.
