A law is becoming popular in Brazil that brings feminicide (feminicídio) to the legal system.

It includes every case where murder or attempted murder happens against a woman and is based on gender.

What does that mean, noone seems to know. It’s being used in cases where there is rape, torture and domestic violence.
It’s not yet used broadly, since it doesn’t even actually exist, is still to be aproved, but people are already being punished and given more years in jail based on it.
So yeah, the life of a woman is oficially worth more than the life of a man.

This is the work of feminists and politicians, meanwhile, judges are starting a movement to prevent women from pulling back on any acusations they make, because everytime a man yells at a woman she will go to the police and then pull off the acusation.

Dude, do you have any proof of that? I was at Brazil just last month I heard nothing about this. This “femicide” is nothing new though. The book “Defending Battered Women on Trial” gives legal and practical advice to women to murder their partners and get away with it (according to John The other from youtube, he mentioned that book several times) and apparently “femicide” was one of its suggestions for the legal system to adopt.

So I think strange (but not impossible) for Brazil adopt this first, since the book is from a Canadian author and law professor (if Im not mistaken).

I am from Brazil, if you could tell from which source you got your information I would appreciate.

    Cheers

Here is the book on Amazon, if that’s any help. There was a squawk about it on the manosphere a while ago. Yes, it is basically a recipe for a woman on how to get away with killing a man.

    Publisher’s description:
In the landmark Lavallee decision of 1990, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that evidence of “battered woman syndrome” was admissible in establishing self-defence for women accused of killing their abusive partners. […]

It was debated that the term should be “femicide” (meaning the killing of felames) instead of “feminicide” (meaning – usually – the mass killing of females for political reasons), but well… it’s a stupid law with a stupid name.

    Anyway, here is a link:

    http://ultimosegundo.ig.com.br/brasil/2015-03-04/feminicidio-passa-a-ser-considerado-crime-hediondo.html

Just note that in the speech for the aproval of the law, it was highlighted that 40 thousand women were killed in the last ten years.
FIY, there were nearly 500 thousand homicides in Brazil the last ten years.

SP is nuts, used to live there aswell. I don’t think the major centers represent the entire country. If you do happen to find yourself down in SP, make sure to drop by liberdade (its the japanese end of brazil).

I have a growing frustration with men all around the world, because why do they constantly take s~~~ from women?! I mean seriously we have been going to war for centuries, and conquering nations ! What would women be able to do if we decided no more, and took up arms? Do you think they really stand a chance against us? It would be an absolute slaughter, and they would quickly be reminded men built this world and we have the power to destroy it. That’s like superman kissing the ass of a human even though he can crush anyone he wants in a single blow. Men can crush women if we wanted to, and put an end to their “f~~~ery” yet Manginas stand in our way.
