Hi all! My name is Billy. I am 67 years old and been married three times. I came on here after reading posts for awhile and hope my experience can help some not to do what I have done. The pain and financial expense I have gone through would have destroyed most people. I was raised Catholic and it had a profound affect on my life both good and evil. I stayed in my first marriage for 10 years. Most of those 10 years were a hell on earth, but Catholics don’t get divorced! My wife ran around on me from the time we were engaged until the day we were divorced. I like to say she never met a “Richard” she didn’t like. Before we were married she lied about wanting all the things I did in life. After being married things changed quickly. At 2 1/2 years I filed for divorce, I let myself get talked out of it by family and the church. At 10 years of this hell I filed again in 1983. I had talked to a lawyer three years prior to this, and he informed me what I had to do not to get raped by the court system. To make a very long 3 years short, I got the house my daughter and didn’t have to pay her one red cent. I’ll be adding my second marriage in a few days. I’ll try to keep things short

Welcome sir. I am 48 and have gone through a divorce once and managed to keep my pension. I lost everything else. Thankfully I have no children. I can honestly say that if I had access to a resource like this when I was in my 20’s I would never have even considered getting into a relationship let alone married.
