The competition, originally meant for only girls so they could feel good about themselves and science, was opened up for boys as well. The winner was decided by public vote. A boy won. Feminists are outraged. “How can a boy win a competition meant for girls?”. They didn’t complain when boys were allowed in the competition because they probably assumed a girl would be selected to win and boys were just token pieces.

Some female scientists speak up at how stupid it is to have a girls only competition. No sense of accomplishment for the girl, all kids should be encouraged to be curious. Kudos to them.

No surprise here. STEM is a logic-based career field, and females are emotion-based creatures. You’re either right or wrong in STEM, and the idea of being wrong is scary for females.

Look how petty these feminists are. Did they go into STEM and actually live the values they say women should espouse? No. But they’ll try to force little girls to do it. They’re trying to live vicariously through little girls and make them compete with boys when they themselves were too afraid to. In order to realize their fantasy, vicariously through these little girls, they try to rig the game so the little girl will win. Victory for the little girl is victory for the feminist, in her warped head. This has nothing to do with encouraging girls into STEM and everything to do with female feminist failures trying to force young girls to fight their battle and live their dream. Why not let the little girl choose her own path? Forcing gender roles on children is wrong but forcing your desired roles on them is ok? Bunch of hypocrites.

When I was a senior in high school (back in the 80’s), I entered the student co-op program. I was sent to interview at a medical lab along with 5 chicks (I was the only guy).

There was 4 hours of testing and interviews and I got the job. Nobody expected it (except me) and one of the chick’s mother called my mom to bitch because her daughter was “smarter” than me and she should have gotten the position. My mom explained that she was delusional.

So began my journey to rile the masses.

Yet they cannot find IT women. So they fill the ranks with nice folks from India, which also serve to address the minority hiring thing.

I’ve worked in scientific and IT environments over the years. Women are very good at the rote stuff like making sure all check boxes are checked properly or following scripts. I have never met one that can troubleshoot at an elite level.

They also cannot handle novel situations where one is forced to think outside the box. The would go against The Hive mind of the female.

Agreed. I’ve known some formidable female scientists and engineers. None of them were quota girls; they achieved their attainments the hard way, like the boys have to.

It’ll get to the point if the loonies had there way, where boys and girls will sit a different exam for the same class. Normal exam for boys, easier one for girls, just to make the final results a little fairer.

I love how they flipped their lids because a boy won. There’s nothing they can say this time. It wasn’t a contest of strength, speed, or anything else considered,”Masculine”. It was brain vs. brain and a boy won out in the end.
