Book :: The Courage to be Disliked

Recently I stumbled up on the book called The Courage to be Disliked.

The premise of the book is Adlerian Psychology which embraces courage being a central theme to human efforts, or lack thereof, to strive for a meaningful life.

A lot of the book touched on concepts that MGTOW have embraced such as the idea of being lonely not particularly associated with being alone per say but rather the circumstances one finds himself in.

Overall, the book is a good read – especially in the context of breaking free from the herd-think.

There is a lot of food for thought but also a sense of gratification in reading such philosophy that aligns with MGTOW without discussing women much. There was, however, a paragraph or two that classically mentioned women in some white-knight fashion- but it was just in passing.

In case some dudes were wondering what to pick next – I recommend giving it a go.

Ha, for me it didn’t take courage. It took getting tired of being s~~~ on by women and men alike. As soon as I stopped letting people walk all over me, I found many disliked me. Not everyone is going to like you and most people won’t care whether you live or die. Once you realize that people are no damn good and you adopt the no f~~~s given attitude, life is much easier and more pleasant.

“likes” ( also in the social media sense ) are essentially valueless. For example, A great many men place far too much value (and effort) on making women “like” them, which is actually counter-intuitive.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

I only rarely tell people to “F~~~ off”.

Usually I just simply say my favorite word:

Well, I grew up with being disliked.

Me against a whole village of fools. And to this day, they are too terrified to run into any trouble with me.

Well, they were told to step on me “one step too far” and my chain of responses went down in local talk history. (National papers and state TV on one later occasion)

I was disliked and had my peace and quiet. Like an island, they ship around me and “they” play no role in my life. No social bulls~~~, but no c~~~ either. Which is liberating. All c~~~s wanted me to become “integrated”… Later I told them “Integrated into THEIR poverty??? – No way!” And so they left.

Dare to be disliked and the MGTOW lifestyle comes all by itself. All c~~~s make a run for it when they can’t control you with shame or social blackmail. They must know that “complaining to their hive” will ONLY make you show her the door.
