I would recommend nearly anything by Paul Preston. His detailed biography of Spanish dictator Francisco Franco was an entertaining read.

Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
    What Happened by Hillary Clinton
    The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks

At first I had to do a double take but I understand why you put those there, did read the notebook several years ago classic blue pill.

    Recommend the Predatory Female

Also The Book Robin Hood by Paul Creswick, Marion is mentioned once in the book at the beginning and then not again, just a book about him and his friendship with his fellow men.

"what a waste of a life, to marry, give up your freedom, just for the hope of not dying alone. Don't get married Son."

    Thanks for the link, Badger.

As for me, I’d suggest the World as Will And Idea by Arthur Schopenhauer and The Garden Of Pleasure by Yang Chu.

I have one more book that might be of interest to some. The first dozen pages tell the methods, the rest is his stories of how he applied them.

    Josh Kaufman
The First 20 Hours: How to Learn Anything …. Fast!

Also, SpiderHerder, if Awareness by de Mello was of interest, I suggest you check out The Way to Love by him. He used the word “Love” in the title, but it really has more to do with the problems we create by our beliefs. He died before he could write a book that he wanted to give the title: I’m an Ass, You’re an Ass! Someone suggested the subtitle: A Book that You Will Get a Kick Out of.

I don’t go for his religiosity, but like in Awareness, he doesn’t beat around the bush otherwise in explaining how people create their own problems.
