The oldest traditional wedding vows can be traced back to the middle ages to the ‘Book of Common Prayer,’ published in 1549.

The original wedding vows, as printed in The Booke of Common Prayer, are:

Bride: I,_____, take thee,_____, to be my wedded Husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, cherish, and to obey, till death us do part, according to God’s holy ordinance.

Interestingly, on September 12, 1922, the Episcopal Church voted to removed the word “obey” from the bride’s section of wedding vows.

Marriage is like prostitution in so far as ladies in both situations use sex to obtain resources.

Marriage is different than prostitution in important ways. In marriage, a woman promises to love, cherish, and obey.

Have you ever seen a lady love, cherish, and obey a man? I personally have never seen this. Ladies usually don’t even make an effort. In essence, ladies breach the promise they made. They don’t honor their contract. No wonder men feel betrayed. They were promised love and instead got psycho bitch.

At least with prostitution, ladies don’t breach their promise. They perform as promised most of the time.

It comes down to a trust issue. In marriage, men can not trust ladies to perform that to which they promised.
Men are promised the gold mine and instead get the shaft.

” men can not trust ladies to perform that to which they promised.”

That’s why the old saying was ” you marry a woman to make her a honest woman”

    MG-Tower’s Vows:
I’ll never place trust in a modern woman, be it directly or indirectly. I shall stand guard against female infiltration and domination till death do I part! May I kick the bride!

Our grandfathers said: Be silent and obey ME woman!
Now the common mangina says: Be silent and obey women!

Maybe not love, but certainly cherish & obey – i’ve seen it 3 times. But none of them was a wife.

The first two were escorts – the best kind of relations~~~ in my opinion. They were both attentive, respectful, playful and overall in a good mood. Not to mention very attractive.

The third was a brief fling i had with a chick i met in a salsa dance class. Deferential, attentive, respectful, good looking – but in the end she wanted more commitment than i was willing to give. It got ugly when i cut it off (around the 4 month mark) but was pretty good up until that point.

So yeah i guess it’s possible, but sure as hell won’t be forever!
