Body surfing waves

One thing i was good at was body surfing .

I found these two intresting as the hand board is not new . Best one i had years ago was flat hard plastic with a small fin . These ones these guys have are s~~~ .

I loved the freedom of fealing like a dolphin . Once you got some speed on you have to keep your body hard and stiff .

When you get out in big waves you dont have a surf board to rest on and s~~~ . So you need to be fit .

Getting dumped by a wave in deep water you sometimes think wheres the f~~~in bottom at . Thats when you need a good set of lungs . I was came up from a wave in a cyclone time . When i got up to the surface all out of air i was hit by a second wave as i hit the surface gasping for air . F~~~ that was a close call that day .

Then you have those times where you get big dumpers onto sand . C~~~s have broken bones and necks . But its fun i like getting smashed into the sand .

Get lots of c~~~s drown in the surf . Mainly dumb arse holiday makers . PANIC is a big killer . If they get caught in a rip they try swimming against it instead of across the it .

Also never be fooled by the eye . The surf is much bigger when your out and there . Waves come in sets . So people may think the waves have died down and go out a bit further . Then say the fourth set is the big wave after say three sets of small waves .

Choking on fresh cold powder after a bombhole is much safer than going over the topside of a wave only to get driven under and pounded in the surf!

You would like skiing, blade, a whole lot! It’s like riding a wave a thousand feet high that just keeps on falling! When you get real good you use the speed to slow you down!

At Jay they call it “ski good, or eat wood”…

I go pond skimming when the opportunity arises, so I guess so, it’s cool watching the boulders pass beneath your feet only submerged inches! No place to f~~~ up!

I wreckon probably be the same in the snow . When ya get smashed dont go tense . Thats what breaks bones . Remain relaxed and enjoy the ride , that washing machine in the white wash as it sucks you back in . Turning and rolling .

Use to swim at night in the surf when it was hot summer nights .

Kicked what i beleaved to be a shark as i was catching a wave . F~~~ i s~~~ then and came staight in . Scared f~~~ out of me .

My only worry is snow snakes (s~~~ hidden in the snow). It’s like being cloths-lined beneath the knees! Sometimes you cartwheel!

See that s~~~ i wouldnt of thought off and would end up f~~~ed up .

We get snakes in on our beaches . Redbellied blacks mostly . People are just unaware they are there .

I’m rightfully terrified of the ocean. I feel defenseless and underequipped, no fins and no gills on human animal. I’m more of a land guy. You got major b~~~~ to surf bro, looks like great fun.

My whole dream, having been too poor my whole life to do it before, is to make it big in the city and go to the country side, get some land and ride a dirt bike though the woods and have a ball.

I don’t even know how to ride motorcycles. I ride scooters. But I have driven fast motor scooters for many years. Ive probably driven over 50,000 miles on a scooter.
