    Hi Gents,

I just want to ask you whether someone has experience with Blackberry® phones, especially the new Blackberry® Passport ? It seems that Blackberry® is not dead against all prophecies of doom.

The Blackberry® Passport looks very interesting. It has a square Display and not a rectangular one. So there is no need to move it when you are reading some news etc.

Once again it comes with a physical Keyboard like the Blackberry® classics, and a touch Keyboard. The rechargeable battery pack seems to reach a new Benchmark. Also it is reported to have a very good manufacturing on the whole.

I did not get it in my Hands but I guess I will take a look at it next year. The Price of nearly 550 Euros without any Provider contracts  is remarkable, but anyway if it is working well, why not. It is alway an eye-catcher. What do you think ?

    CHEERS!!!

Maybe not necessary but just for the sake of completeness:
BlackBerry® is a registered trademark of Research In Motion Limited

I know some business men (millionaires) who really swear on Blackberry. They say it’s best to answer e-mails fast and it’s much more reliable then those other smartphones (iOS, Android). But I never had a Blackberry myself, I only once answered a mail with one and it was really great. The Blackberry keyboard is perfectly optimised for fast typing.

But I don’t know what you’re going to use it for. For business it’s good. If you want a lot of apps, others are probably better.

Thanks floarty for your Response. I know about the Blackberry Features, the RIM Server etc. I got this Z30 model here. I just wanted a liitle bit more practise experience about the new Passport phone. At the beginning of the year I set up a new Blackberry Server BES12 in our company. Our Provider handed me the Blackberry Passport so I just could check the functions and the Apps. Maybe our CEOs will use it in the future, so I alredy got the experience to offer Service.

    Anyway, thanks for your answer.

    CHEERS!!!
