Was watching the morning news and all the women were all women empowerment about this movie. It was like they were having an orgasm.
I have not seen it, do not plan on seeing it.

Thanks for the warning. I will not be seeing that then.

I do wonder what history will make of the lack of strong male characters in films, books and art from this age. I think they will say “What a bunch of cucks and manginas”

I hope someone starts making good stuff again.

A woman is like fire -fun to play with, can warm you through and cook your food, needs constant feeding, can burn you and consume all you own

Not to mention the obvious, but its black female-empowerment…….by way of escapism.

The most female-empowering thing that most black women could do would be to snag themselves a husband.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.

F~~~ Black Panther and his bitches. That’s not a movie, it’s a feminist documentary on how black weemins are strong and independent just like their white sisters.

The last super hero movie I watched was The Incredible Hulk and it was so good that I haven’t felt the need to watch another Marvel flick. In fact, I’m tired of those super’s flicks. They’re all basically the same with different heroes… yaaawn

And the Hulk beats the livin s~~~ out of Black Panther!

Black panther movie = DELUSIONAL MENTAL PROBLEMS!

Public no longer cares about any true achievements or progress, all they want is some s~~~ movie projecting their fantasy to skyrocket their ego. And unfortunately, we have a ton of people who thinks this is however empowering.

IF YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING IN REAL LIFE ASK SOMEONE TO CREATE A MOVIE WHERE YOU ARE A SUCCESSFUL GENIUS, BILLIONAIRE, PLAYBOY, PHILANTHROPIST while you are jobless, living in ghetto along with drugs, violence and promiscuity; where food, clothes, medicines and even condoms are paid off by the big government mama using the WHITE MEN’s money.

Hmmm… I saw it with a client, can’t say I loved it (too formulaic), but didn’t really have any problems with it. Sure it was wall-to-wall women, but the person in charge was always going to be a guy, and only guys fought for the throne. Less s~~~ting on white people than I expected too (the lesser baddie was a white South African, but meh).

What I found fascinating was that the main baddie was an African raised in America. They gave him a slave mentality. A kid who grew up in 90s America, while someone like Obama was rising to power (and Oprah was in full swing) – a time when a black kid, like any other, could grow up to be anything he wanted – and all he would say was he was oppressed blah blah blah. Most of the Africans (the Black Panther folks) wouldn’t buy it – they were advanced and empowered and didn’t buy into his s~~~ at all.

It was quite literally a savage, if unintentional, takedown of BLM.

Icing on the cake? His dad died young – he was one more fatherless American black kid who went off the rails.

Let’s hope that sinks in to a few viewers.

Oh this is rich. A petition demanding that marvel share 25% of the profit with communities.

Haven’t watched the movie, but I agree with his point about dudes these days being too effeminate…for f~~~’s sake, I can’t even trash talk in a computer game without people legitimately getting offended these days!

Meh. Zero desire to see this. I figure if it isn’t pandering it will be tokenism. Seriously, it’s called “Black Panther” after all, not just “The Panther”. The f~~~ reason do they have for making that extra clear? What is this? Eighties superfriends? Do they feel the same need to name Professor X “White Wheelchair”?

And if it isn’t tokenism it will be just another lame-ass boilerplate superhero yawn fest. Given the s~~~ politics at Marvel and the s~~~tier politics surrounding this film, that’s not enough of a draw to overcome the embarrassment I’d feel walking into a theater to see it.

Oh this is rich. A petition demanding that marvel share 25% of the profit with communities.

I’m surprised there’s only one. Also f~~~ the “community”. The “community” are just the same crab bucket f~~~ers who do their best to keep you down and then demand you “give back” when you make something despite them. Funny how they never “give back” anything themselves. Just make demands.

The movie has very little to do with female empowerment. It’s more about black empowerment than anything. ya there’s some tough ass women in this movie but they all are overseen by male leaders. Claiming this movie is about female empowerment is a crock of s~~~ in my opinion.

I didn’t love the movie, i didn’t hate the movie, but i certainly didn’t come away from it thinking it was about female anything.

After viewing PJ Watson’s critique, especially the part where it describes how Rotten Tomatoes crushes any bad reviews of Black Panther, I thought I would offer this screenshot. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.

I was surprised at how Black Panther who’s like a 3rd tier Marvel Hero has smashed box office opening weekend records. If he hadn’t been in one of the Avengers movies, only comic nerds would even know who black panther was. Really surprised that it smashed other big box office openings from well known franchises.

What we are seeing here is the same psy-op phenomena that got Obama elected. Shaming people into engaging in some sort of action. Obama was very successful at convincing white people to vote for him to PROVE they weren’t racist, naturally because only a racist wouldn’t vote for him. And its the same here with this movie. You must see it to prove you aren’t a racist.

Hillary tried this same tactic—prove you aren’t sexist; and the only acceptable proof is voting for her. Sorry babe didn’t work that time.
