Black Men vs. Black Women (USA)

Here in the USA, most black men are not getting married to black women. Although they may be dating black women and having children, they still don’t want that lifetime commitment.

Back in the 1950s, it was normal for a black man to be married. But then there was a cultural shift in American society. Women, in general, were seduced with the idea of empowerment. One version of “empowerment” was getting a free apartment and free food from the government…on the condition that they kicked the low wage earning boyfriend/husband out of the household.

Black American women are more likely to get a college degree and climb the corporate ladder than black American men. But, ironically, black men earn more money, on average, than black women.

Naturally, most women have a sense of hypergamy. So these college-educated black women want to marry black men with the same level of education or a high salary—but their choices are limited.

I see a cultural problem that divides black men and women rather than a racial problem. I think a lot of black children are raised to believe that the black men in their communities are not deserving of respect. They grow up without positive images of a black men as providers and leaders of the family unit.

I see a lot of disrespect from both parties when I watch American black couples arguing. But when I look at black African immigrants, there’s a difference. The men and women play a particular role and they respect each other. The man is in charge of his family and the woman serves him. That is not the case in many black American families. Many black American women are strong-willed, dominant, and independent, and some black American men would rather have an interracial relationship because they have more opportunities to find women who have “soft,” feminine, submissive qualities.

This video is provocative, and it’s probably that way to get ratings. Its supposed to be enlightening, but I doubt the black cast members will learn anything that’s going to be life-changing. I think they’ll continue to have resentment toward each other.

Black women aren’t marrying black men either…they are getting pregnant and s~~~ting out kids so they can collect welfare checks. Neither black men nor black women want to marry each other. Hence the reason why 75% of them are born out of wedlock.

African American’s have been Westernized whereas actual African’s being people born and raised in Africa still have that traditional train of thought which is why you see the difference in attitudes.

Give it time and the African immigrant women will be just as bad as their AA counterparts.

Just like Muslim communities are seeing with Feminism effecting them as well.

The video was interesting, I’m white and never dated a black woman but I saw a lot of traits in that clip that I have seen in white women as well. Like the angry attitude. At around 55 seconds the guy is just making a comment that his brother is standing there between 2 white women, it’s just a comment. The black woman fires back with “And is that where you want to be?” That kind of s~~~ kills me. Why does everything have to be a f~~~ing war?

The part towards the end where the black men say that the white women let them be men. Yeah… ok, sometimes I let people dumber than me take charge at work because I can’t be bothered doing anything. Know what I’m saying?

Know a guy who worked in Africa for a year and he told me black chicks prefer white men.
Why?

He said the men sit around hanging out with the chief drinking beer while the women toil hard in the sun.

Interesting cultural differences.

This quote is spot on. A cursory look back in U.S. history. Nearly every dehumanizing practice by .gov. Is first tested in black communities.

That reminds me very much of the dynamic between white men and Asian women.
