Want to know WHY? It is because most people who seek power, especially now, are evil. In the past, through a fluke in genetics such as the son of a king, you would accidentally have people with power that were good leaders.

Our present system is a filter or sieve to make sure that honest, uncorrupted people do not make it to public office. If this wasn’t the law, men who actually WERE violent would probably kill the woman for having the nerve to report them. A day in the drunk tank will let tempers cool and hopefully prevent the violent man from hurting her in retaliation. Yes, this gives women too much power over a man, but in this case it’s something that I support because it saves lives. I don’t think this was racially motivated. This is the old adage “NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED.”

Years ago I (white man) had similar problems with (white women). Whenever women see a man doing something good for the community and helping out children they get upset. They will not stop plotting until the man is destroyed and the community turned to s~~~.
