This is why it is hard for black men to make it in the country. Not because of white people or anything like the bulls~~~ BLM and NAACP talks about. It’s black women continually choosing the wrong men to procreate with. They willingly choose the bottom feeders of our community to have children by, and they share those men. That’s why you will see guy having multiple kids from multiple women. Those chicks know each other, they just think they have what it takes to make the guy settle down.

Black kids are hurt the most from this ordeal. The black boys hear all through childhood, how men aren’t s~~~, and how he looks just like his father, and his father ain’t s~~~. So when you are a boy and you constantly hear that, the last thing that boy is going to want to do, is be a man when he grows up.

The blacks girls follow in the mothers footsteps, and sometimes the mother even competes with the daughter for male attention. I know plenty chicks like that.

This is why i’m not a pro-black person. You can only fix the problem from the inside out. We can’t keep looking for outside help to fix an inside problem. You won’t see me speaking at a BLM or NAACP event. F~~~ them and everybody who subscribes to them. They do nothing but hold back the community, and don’t get me started on welfare and Obama.

    Thoughts??

Like you said… It has to come from within.

I am a helpful person but as soon as I see myself trying to help someone more than they help themselves, I’m out.

I rarely interact with black women, they are wild.

Mgtow black men are becoming a larger group. The party is over for the women that believe the status quo is going to last. The writing is on the wall.

The status quo is going to look much different in 10 days on 1 Oct.

What it will look like I cannot predict but I suspect a lot of single mothers are gonna split their wig.

Man you have no idea. It all comes down to knowledge. Reading truly is fundamental. Once you gain the knowledge, no one can take it away from you. The answers to the questions in the 60’s, are the same answers today. People like Dr. King, Malcom X, Marcus Garvey, Ralph Abernathy, Dr. Thomas Sowell, Dr. Walter Williams, they all talked about being financially responsible and being personally responsible.

Regular people learn from their mistakes, but smart people learn from the mistakes of others. It’s the same thing we talk about on this site. Being accountable, and holding each other accountable. The black community can be turned around, but it doesn’t WANT to be turned around.

You should see the books I have. I want to start my own business one day, and i do research to figure out different business opportunities, i write notes to myself while doing the research. I have read so much information about tax law, and business structure. There is endless information nowadays. Just have to be willing to seek it out. There is so much I want to do in life, and i know that if people only knew what was possible, they would be excited about life as well.

That’s really the major thing i want to accomplish with teaching. Yea its fun to sit in class and discuss history and make sense of historical data. But the main thing i wan to do, is help these kids to learn how to think. I’m not trying to teach them WHAT to think, i wanna teach them HOW to think.

You are a great teacher @venom.

The edumacation system ensures that everyone thinks the same, and it doesn’t cultivate critical thinking.

We need more educators like you.

You constantly give me hope that this system can be changed.

    Keep it up!

I think the problems of the black American community are an indication of what could happen to other racial/ethnic groups in America.

The problems of violence, teen pregnancy, absent fathers, drug addiction, poverty, unemployment, sexually-transmitted diseases, etc., are very significant in black American communities. The lack of educational achievement is profound as well. Job opportunities are limited for those without a high school diploma as well as opportunities for higher education and service in the Armed Forces. The loss of manufacturing jobs, particularly in urban areas like Detroit, has led to the decline of American neighborhoods that were once prosperous.

I wonder if most Americans realize that black Americans made a lot of social progress in the late 19th Century. Black Americans should be proud of what their ancestors accomplished in the post Civil War years. As soon as blacks were liberated from slavery, they were eager to get jobs and learn how to read. They were excited about starting a new chapter in their lives as free people. Black men were the head of the household, and they had the right to vote (before women did). Their children grew up knowing who their father was and respecting his authority. These men worked very hard to provide for their families.

Some women are content with raising their kids without a father. They don’t care if their kids grow up to be emotionally unstable because they lack a relationship with their dads. All that matters is getting a check in the mail. If the United States goes in the direction of increased taxation to fund a welfare/police state, you’ll see more women making irresponsible decisions and getting paid to be pregnant without a husband or responsible man to pay the bills and help raise the kids. The government will be the step father.

Women will vote for politicians that will give them free stuff so they won’t have to work too hard to earn money. Then they can brag about “not needing a man” while enjoying the benefits of being a single mother (welfare and court-ordered child support payments). More women will take advantage of government aid when it no longer becomes shameful to do so. And their kids will be raised without a dad (a positive male role model) and learn to depend on others to bail them out—which is a major problem with black American communities. They’re waiting to be rescued when they should be creating better communities (with the same motivation as their 19th century ancestors).

If you create a society that devalues the authority of fathers in the family unit, how long do you think that society will last?

FunInTheSun’s comment ‘More women will take advantage of government aid when it no longer becomes shameful to do so’ rings true.
Not just for Afro-Americans. It holds true even for traditionally-conservative European Catholic countries.
My former wife was part of a circle of five women.
It took one to ‘lose’ her husband. The other women stepped back and watched.
Watched when social welfare stepped in with cheques and cash, watched as local society offered ‘support’, ‘acceptance’ and ‘love’ and watched a pain-free (for the woman) legal process.
    That created a domino effect.
One after the other ALL of those women proceeded to ‘lose’ their husbands. Me included!

It is not about skin color, it is about class. A Lazy, thug, entitled mentality will cause you to fail every time, REGARDLESS OF SKIN COLOR.

    Hey Venom,

I’ve been reading a book called “A Different Kind of Teacher” by John Taylor Gatto. It is a collection of essays about the problems of the American public school system. Have you heard of it?

Look the facts are the facts. This should sum it up. Show me one city or country in the world that is run by black folks that isn’t a complete s~~~ show. Go ahead I’ll wait.

So if it’s a worldwide phenomenon but it can’t be cultural Can it? Oh OK I forgot it’s the fault of the evil white man!

Never heard of him but i will look up his books. I’m friends with this liberal whose parents are both teachers. His mother is a spokesperson for public schools and teachers unions. She hates charter schools like Trump hates ugly women. I disagree with pretty much all of that. I say, if a charter school has a propensity to work, then it should be an option.

If public schools are so good, then why are they failing? Why are these students not on the level they need to be on? Charter schools work more often then they fail. And they outperform the public schools in their areas. There is a charter school opening up next year in my town and i hope i can get hired there by the time i get finished with my degree.

The point is, the best interest of the child is the priority. And if they are not getting what they need from the public school system, then charter schools should be an option for them. No parent that is worth a damn, would willingly send their child to a failing school. But they will when they have no other choice. Give the parents a choice.

Living in the south as I do ATM, one thing that needs to be added. It is the idea of getting ahead in the black community is so frowned upon it is unreal.
Don’t know how many times I heard one tell another one looking to get out of the pit bottom,…….What you trying to be white? Or something along that line. Advancement is discouraged almost as much as sports is encouraged.

Historically and dating back at least a few thousand years:

Women from Africa within their own cultures / tribes / societies and social systems have always been extremely hypergamous.

And in the US currently, they practice hybrid hypergamy. In the absence of securing a guy with more money, they discard their children’s father and align with the state and government.
