It appears that birth control may alter the sexual attraction of women to more feminine guys. It’s interesting, considering how many women currently use it.

To that end, the researchers ran two studies involving hormonal oral contraceptive pills and interactive computer graphic faces. Fifty-five heterosexual women looked at digital images of male faces; they were asked to manipulate the faces until they found the ideal face suited for a short-term relationship and the ideal face for a long-term relationship. Once they’d created their Ken-tastic Dream Man, 18 of the women went home with birth control pills and 37 participants kept their hormones au naturale. After three months, both groups of women returned and performed the same facial-attractiveness test. The researchers found that the women who had been on the pill since the last testing session were less into dudes with masculine faces (as determined by three ratios: cheekbone prominence, jaw height/lower face height, and face width/lower face height) than the women who were not taking oral contraceptives.

The results revealed that the women were less partial to masculine facial features when they were on the birth control pill than when they were not on it. Masculine facial features included larger jaws, more prominent brow ridges and more angular features. However, being on the pill did not influence the women’s preferences when they were looking at photos of other women, suggesting that the pill somehow affected what they found attractive in potential mates, but not in faces in general.

In a second experiment, the researchers recruited 170 couples. In half of them, the woman was on birth control when the couple met. The researchers showed photographs of the men to additional groups of volunteers — both men and women — who rated how masculine the men’s faces were. In keeping with the findings of the first experiment, the women who were on the pill when they met their partners tended to be in a relationship with men whose faces were less manly.

Interesting sidenote, I once knew a girl who decided to take birth control and came out as lesbian after using it for a long time. She was a hardcoar birth control user.

Black chicks that i’m around don’t like to take birth control because they say it causes them to lose weight. So they just say f~~~ it, if they get pregnant, they either have it and run to the child support office, or they kill it so they can be ready for summer at the beach.

Turns out there’s a bit of scientific background behind your statement. Interesting stuff.

A study published in August in the Proceedings of the Royal Society B, however, suggests that women on the pill undergo a shift in preference toward men who share similar MHC genes. The female subjects were more likely to rate these genetically similar men’s scents (via a T-shirt the men had worn for two nights) as pleasant and desirable after they went on the pill as compared with before. Although no one knows why the pill affects attraction, some scientists believe that pregnancy—or in this case, the hormonal changes that mimic pregnancy—draws women toward nurturing relatives.

    Their body, their choice…

Another example of being a victim and blaming anyone and anything for their poor choices in life…

Basically, dont want to get pregnant then dont have sex…

I think their huge number of repeat abortions might actually be doing that.

Then why do they complain about there being no “real men”?

    How does this explain Chad?

I think it’s because they just don’t know what they want.
They find fault in every man they encounter. And because they see imperfections they deluded themselves into thinking that there is a Mr Perfect out their for them. Secondly they have such a high sense of self entitlement that they deluded themselves into believing they actually DESERVE a perfect man. They listen to the bulls~~~ that tells them they are worth it.

We are the decay phase of our present civilization. All of this decadence is just a symptom. It has happened before.

I’ll be dead in 45 years max and probably sooner. I don’t give a f~~~. Death will remove me from this s~~~ show. I wouldn’t mind being abducted by a UFO before then as long as the aliens were cool. I’d hang with them. It’d be a nice change of pace.

I think the collapse will come about within our lifetimes but I hope everything (as f~~~ed up as it is) drags on just long enough so that I can see it happen, but will be so old I won’t give a f~~~ and will just chuckle at the whole thing

If the pill isn’t causing it, the marriage strike will. Women have a desperate need for cohabitation, I predict there’ll be a huge spike in “sesbianism” over the next 20 years.

I would say yes, indirectly the pill causes women to become lesbians.

Women who want to have all the fun and no responsibility choose to use birth control. But, men are walking away from that personality type, looking for NAWALTs.

The female, looking for constant attention and affirmation, has to look elsewhere…

Don't chase tail. Turn yours around, walk away, and live free!
