"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

Funny thing is…. he’s not really saying anything “funny”.
He just tells the truth and rolls with that, and then realizes how hilarious it is.

Joan Rivers and Johny Carson used to write “jokes”.
Rich Little and Jim Carrey used to do perfect voice imitations.
Bill Burr grabs a mic and just talks.

I don’t think I ever heard him tell a “joke” or do a funny imitation.
He’s just saying out loud what others are thinking. And it works.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Yep. I really miss Richard Pryor and George Carlin. Those guys just gave you the raw truth about life and they didn’t care if you couldn’t handle it. I like to think that they passed the baton to Bill.

Personally, I think he’s a sellout. Sure, he makes humorous quips and digs at women but at the end of the day he’s still owned by one.

    George Carlin was downright hilarious.

There is “Bill Burr”, a red pill, misogynistic, the comedic persona.

Then there is William Frederic Burr the actual human who married his long time “producer” girlfriend, had a child with her, and earns a living by performing the role of “Bill Burr”.

We need to remember this. We need to be educated consumers of media.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

I like his act. He is actually very funny but it is just really an act. He’s his bitch’s bitch…

And now that I have time to clarify why I disagreed (lol didn’t even say what I disagreed about), I meant this is one of the funniest well written jokes Bill has ever done. He even has a great little music beat going that’s fun to listen too.
