Biggvs Dickvs is a Class Act

I put up a post yesterday about some DV I have endured. It was emotionally difficult for me.(when I joined it was suggested I share some horror stories for the younger guys to learn from) Mr Biggvs Dickvs made a comment that was NOT out of line. He was being respectful and a Gentleman. I gave him some s~~~ in my emotional state. I then apologized. He was a BIG MAN to so graciously accept my Apology. Class Guy Thank you Sir!!!

I and I think everyone else here is glad you’re here sharing your stories. Sometimes the need to vet posters can cause a lot of friction, especially when you’re in an highly emotionally charged state.

I appreciate that sharing a story like that takes a lot of courage and emotional fortitude.

I also appreciate your understanding of where I was coming from too. For a lot of us, even if we have experienced DV, the level you’re describing is so out of the realm of experience for most of us it’s hard to believe.

I do apologize if I caused any unnecessary pain – it sounds like you’re well aware that it wasn’t intentional or in any way personal.

That’s one of the great things about this community and the philosophy we hold – we make a real effort to work through our issues and hold our brotherhood above all. Most female associations I’ve observed simply don’t have that level of depth or commitment to principle.

Finally, let me just say that based on your actions here, I have no reason whatsoever to doubt that your story is true at this point. In fact the only reason I ever did was really because of it’s sheer incredulity – you have to admit it’s like something out of a bad hollywood B movie.

I think we’d all be interested to hear some of the background and how you ended up mixed up with this chick in the first place, maybe what general geographic area it happened in (just for cultural reference), ad things like that so we can better put it into context.

To wit, I’ve mentioned before that I’m totally average to -slightly- above average depending on geographic region. The name is purely a Monty Python reference. I like to reiterate that once in a while and this is as good a place as any.
