Anonymous3Hi, I just found this article while browsing some news.
it says, China will connect all their already “big data” databases and rate its citizens. Social media comments and credit ratings and purchase history and whatever else you can imagine, everything all connected. All converted to a single number called as one’s rating. And it also uses the rating of the people you may know (since that is registered by social media and telephone and email metadata anyway)https://www.wired.co.uk/article/chinese-government-social-credit-score-privacy-invasion
This will “nudge” people to go mainstream (instead of creating clear and easy to understand laws, they bully people into total self-censorship), and motivate them to exclude non-“good citizen” people from their life (whatever that means). Access to credit, jobs, allow to travel abroad, hotels, whatever one may think of, will be determined by “how good citizen is someone” according to that scale. It is beta testing now, will be mandatory in 2020. Sounds very Orwell 1984 to me. God damn scary, especially for me who lives in a country, which already had communism and totalitarianism and secret thought police and all that kind of stuff in last century.

Anonymous3Add to that, it is already no big deal for artificial neural networks to translate human speech to text, or to understand what is on a picture. All phone calls can be checked for keywords sort of real time.
They already have big firewall, and VPN connections and encryption are getting hated and decrypted by governments worldwide.
And https is not secure at all, any “certificate authority” can issue a certificate to any site. They just need to create their own CA, and then man-in-the-middle attack all communication and call it “SSL-inspection”.
One cannot clearly get the real public key of a site, if the government controls his only one internet connection (ISP), where he would try to get the true public key. It is almost impossible to detect. Maybe possible if one visits another country and gets keys from there. But the other country may be SSL-inspecting as well…

Anonymous14Cataloging the Sheeple, where did you Sheeple think this was heading??? lol
Just about everything being done by the Elite is working towards an ever increasing Police State and indexing and tracking it’s flock of taxable obedient workers efficiently.
Definitely straight out of Orwell’s 1984.
This is nuts.
We already know that the U.S. alphabet agencies were keeping tabs on us thanks to Snowden.
Just imagine if they were finally permitted this level of personal intrusion.
The fourth amendment will become a wash.
That will be the day we all become slaves.
Lulled into a false sense of security, only to be sealed by our technological fate.
We will finally create the prison planet.
We give up freedom to have the facade of safety.
Fuck bitches... literally and metaphorically
Doesn’t matter…I will never join wastebook or any of the social media sites…most of my email addresses are fake and don’t point to me…I have a UPS box for a mailing address and do all I can to stay off the radar….If I have to I can fake my death and disappear into the wilderness lol….
An educated, armed populace cannot be enslaved.

Anonymous12It’s happening in the West as well. Look at Google, Youtube, Facebook etc.
Didnt they do this on Black Mirror??? Where a person can be uprated or downrated at a whim.
Episode “Nosedive”. Its here guys… Be Prepared!

Then some of us will want to go space pirate 🙂 I don’t know why Mark Watney wanted to come back to Earth in movie Martian… I mean, if I could grow potato on Mars, and no one is disturbing, then I’d just do science in silence and probably cook some vodka from some potato too.
Back to topic: We also need to distinguish between useful and necessary and totalitarianism-style big-data. It is okay to do some statistics, and to rate one’s possibility to pay back a loan. It is okay to catch big tax-evasive companies (otherwise good people need to pay a lot more tax, to the “taxation is theft” level of 50% of gross wages, like here in Europe… I hate it because they spend tax on building football stadiums and healthcare workers go Galt and leave the country, and country debt does not want to go down.)
But these Chinese people are going much farther than that, what the hell have opinions of stuff have to do with the regular everyday life of a citizen? Why are they allowed to analyze social media and whatever else? Why do the rating of acquaintances matter? If my parents are bad citizens then I will be considered bad? If I buy second hand (not stolen) electronics stuff from a bad guy, then I’m still bad? WTF?

Anonymous54If I was younger I would worry about the trail I leave.
I am glad I wont be around to see what technoligy and humans turn this wrold into. But Ill be Dead.

Anonymous1Yes, Big Data combined with the “Internet of Things” will be the end of all freedom. This is far worse than George Orwell could possibly imagine.
