IBM new diversity logo

So IBM has changed their logo to promote their adaption to changing situations and their promotion of diversity.

While in principle I am fine with their promotion of diversity, why tinker with their logo? Why make such public statement? Why not take the obvious approach of fixing the problem and not go seeking the validation of the world?

Maybe GMOW is changing me, maybe I see this as ridiculous and exclusive instead of inclusive… or maybe I am just expecting others to do the right thing naturally and be an empty chair to criticism…

I think it’s a publicity stunt. Between Dell and the other server manufacturers, and Amazon’s cloud, I don’t know anyone buying s~~~ from IBM.

They probly still have some bloat-ass government contracts keeping them afloat, but that may dry up soon too.

Thus they need to start getting some attention and social media love ASAP.

• “I’m a WHITE (or black) man”.
