I wrote up a post on here (check my post history) claiming to have found the perfect mgtow job.
    .
I waited this long to post what it was because I had to make sure that it was legit. And low and behold, it is legit.

What’s the job? Working for the railroad.

    Why is this?

Before hiring on with them I lived in NYC, and worked random free Lance jobs as well as part time jobs at trader joes and whole foods. No benefits and the money I made barely left me any room for saving. I was living pay check to check. Everyone I worked with was doing the same. Most people in NYC under the age of 30 are getting some sort of government aid (ebt cards etc), and they’re also in massive student loan debt.

As I became more and more red pilled I started to realize how everything around me was feminist and SJW. NYC is a cesspool for feminity and the feminist movement. One of my roommate’s at the time was at the javits center and watched Clinton get defeated in 2016 by Trump. His girlfriend literally cried for two weeks straight. This is the kind of s~~~ I was around.

When one of my main gigs decided to let me go for some personal conservative beliefs I held, I decided to start applying for jobs that were more “mgtow.” I applied to everything from union jobs to city jobs (which are all cucked) to rail road type jobs. Getting a union job in NYC is like winning the lottery, there’s lines around block every time they have a call… guys will sleep in their cars waiting. The railroads actually need people (at least when I was applying).

The process is pretty thorough but not unlike applying for any city job which I had been doing for past couple years, so this was a breeze compared to other jobs I’d applied for.

They do a hair drug test so you have to be clean. There’s also a strength test so you need to not have torn a shoulder or f~~~ed up knee or you will fail it. So long as your other paper work is good, and you don’t p~~~ hot, you’ll get hired. I had to relocate to the west coast but I didn’t care. I’m single and not tied down by any family or kids. I was due for another adventure before I hit my 40s and this was it.

Drove over 3k miles to get there and every step of the way I kept thinking “what the f~~~ are you doing” but I felt like the right move so here I am.

As for the job itself it’s alot of rules and instructions. The rule book is very intimidating. They love hiring veterans being that they’re used to following strict orders but it’s not required. I had no prior knowledge or experience with the railroad, they train you from scratch. As long as you follow their instructions to the T you will pass the exam.

Training was around 4 months and it’s paid. They even paid me some money (not much) for relocating (all heavily taxed obviously) and 54 cents per mile driven (it was over 3,500 miles from NYC). There was also a 15k signing bonus (saying that you’ll stay for at least 3 years) which is actually half that since they tax the s~~~ out of that too. You get 5k the first two weeks and then the rest after one year. If you get fired or quit before the three year deal, you have to give it back.

We started with 12 guys and 8 of us finished. One guy decided he didn’t like the hours. One was fired for not wearing steel toe boots (he’d been warned and still did it again) and another was let go for not getting his training sheet filled out completely (they stress this immensely and the guy still didn’t do it). The last guy though was text book cuckery.

He moved there with his pregnant wife and son. She gave birth during our training and everything. At the very end of our training they have an argument and she decides to run off with the kids while he’s at work. He finds out during our lunch break and the trainers let him go find her. He finds her back in their home town (dude drove over 10 hours straight to get there). They blame her behavior on post pardom depression. He quits the job and I haven’t heard from him since, nor have I tried to call him. I’m sure he’ll find another job but can’t help but think he made a big mistake (maybe he didn’t, maybe he saved his marriage).

    Pros about this job

The pay is good. After 5 years it’s very easy to be making over 100k

The long hours. You can make alot of money doing this job so long as you’re willing to work.

It’s male heavy environment. The work is honest. It’s a non office environment and management doesn’t f~~~ with you so long as you’re getting the work done.

The rules are strict but once you get the hang of them the job becomes pretty easy.

    Cons about this job

Hours are sporadic. You’re always on call. This is not a nine to 5 job. It’s perfect for a mgtow who doesn’t have kids or pets. If you have pets they will suffer. If you have kids they will barely see you. You will miss their recitles or sports games
The first 3 years your susceptible to being furloughed.
It is very easy to get fired if you are not following the strict rules.

You’ll have to chase work and travel out of town for the first two to three years. Guys married with kids have a hard time with this one. Not to mention almost all the men working here for over 10 years have been divorced more than once. And almost all the ones who had serious girlfriends were cheated on.

The work environment is like any other job. Most guys I work with are cool, but 99 percent of them are all blue pill. I met one Engineer who told me about the mgtow term (he pronounced it “Mig toe” lol). I acted like I’d never heard of it. He found it the hard way though.

He married his high school sweet heart. While he was on deployment she ran up all his credit cards, cheated on him, got pregnant and tried to pass it off like it was his (he’d been on a 2nd deployment). I asked him how he was able to not strangle that c~~~. I’d have at least pushed in her eye b~~~~. Dude was living out of his car by the time they divorced. He’s doing great now but man, he said he lost over 300k dealing with that entire mess.

Besides that most guys there are all trapped in the rat race, working while their woman spends what they earn like it’s going out of style. One guy I work with sometimes owns his own houses and had the woman he married sign a prenup. He’s got 4 kids and he seems to know how to run the household, but even with that I don’t doubt that his wife might be cheating. He told me the other day that she wants to get another car. I laughed since he might cave to her request. We’ll see what happens.

One guy who’s been there for over 8 years just bought a new house, and his wife spent over 16 grand on furniture and appliances. What. The. F~~~.

It’s real easy to make money with this job but as you can see, it’s also real easy to spend it faster than you make it. Especially if you’re a slave to pussy like most of these guys.

One guy in my class ended up getting a single mom pregnant and he was talking to me about it like it was awesome. I had to restrain myself from calling him a f~~~ing idiot, but I at least did tell him to get a paternity test to make sure it is really his.

One of the biggest cons about this job is that it will consume you. For someone like me who’s done partying or socializing it’s perfect. I’m not here to see the sites or make friends. I’m here to work and save up. For men trying to get laid or make friends this job will be depressing for you.

I’ll be buying either a house or a condo in less than 4 years. This state has some great areas. Still trying to figure out where to buy but not in a rush.

My main goal is to get into real estate, the sooner the better. Even if I were to get fired from this job I’d start with one house and go from there. But for now I’ll just save up. I’ll rent a room out for now and keep doing research.

My ten year plan is to keep saving and investing in real estate while continuing to work for the railroad. I have no debt and my credit is amazing and I was able able to do all that while in NYC living pay check to pay check. I’m more than disciplined to achieve this goal and it will happen. Mgtow has taught me to never let anyone or anything get in the way of my plans/goals.

If any of you are looking for a new change of pace I highly recommend applying for any railroad gig. I’m no genius my any means and I passed the exam. Any questions I’m happy to elaborate further

    Great post.

Interesting, you heard about a half dozen horror stories along the way about the toxicity of being in a relationship with a female.

It’s nice to see that you have plans for the future.

A lot of guys who make good money at blue collar jobs only care about partying, getting high, getting drunk or getting laid. In spite of a strong income, they live paycheck to paycheck and having nothing to show for their hard work. Blue collar old timers such as this are the most bitter and miserable men you’ll ever find.

Keep doing what you are doing and good luck with the job.

Yup the girls will be the ones doing the firing orders from the HR department.

Very interesting .. thanks. Another job that I once had was working at a 250 megawatt coal fired power generating plant.

That, too, was a decent mgtow kind of set-up.

Union job with swing shift and I remember .. alone on twelfth level at midnight on New Years Eve .. walking around that plant doing operations .. the only other workers, a shift supervisor, and one other plant generator operator and of course the control room operator.

I actually enjoyed that job. If I ever got cold and needed to warm up .. I’d just go up to the sixteenth floor where it remained about ninety degrees Fahrenheit both summer and winter. It was fairly dirty and dusty and really loud and hot ..

.. but it worked for me .. day shift there were probably almost a hundred people working around mechanical maintenance, operations and office .. nights, there were only four people scattered around in this sixteen story power station..

Good of you on your endeavors. Other MGTOW centric jobs is underground mining. Mostly guys since its “dirty” but the pay is good. Most of the women in mining prefer the office jobs…

Come to think of it, I remember the peace and quiet I felt when i was alone walking underground doing some inspections…Good luck on being a RR guy and enjoy…

Yep, the first thing our trainers mentioned to us was to not go out and by a brand new 60k truck or put a mortgage on a new house, for at least 3 years. This is a very economy based job so if things are going bad, then the furloughs will be coming.

With that you still have young guys going out and doing that very thing, and then they are a slave to the job. I’ve been in debt before and it’s not fun. It’s like having 1000 pounds on your chest every day.

Almost all the men here are in horrible debt because of a woman (even worse if they have kids). You can make over 300k and still be in their position. I’ve personally seen it. Spending habits will reveal whether or not you make it out in life debt free.

Who knows what will happen in the next 5 years, I’m living day to day and not stressing it too much while saving as much as I can

Sweet bro. Happy for you. Make the best of it. I wish you success.

Yep the railroad has similarities to this set up. I’d recommend guys going with Jobs that have them working in very industrial and anti social environments. On paper a job on an oil rig or railroad train sounds like hell, boring etc. But it’s pretty dope when you’re mgtow. So much peace and quiet. You with being with a few others next to loud huge machinery. There’s a calm about it.

I prefer working nights. Less traffic and less management lingering. Everyone is still brain washed to the bulls~~~ idea that working normal hours is better/healthier. It is what you make it.

Most guys eat like s~~~ here but you can’t blame the odd hours of work for that. It’s their own choice to eat garbage and drink sugary drinks or coffee.

There are still females working with us but it’s very fare and few and those who are still here are pretty much dudes. Some even chew dip, which is disgusting imo lol.

They know not to bring that sjw Virtue Signaling bulls~~~ into this environment. The ones I’ve worked with are just focused on the job and doing it correctly. No bulls~~~ fluff or drama.

Yes, this place is def full of drama and guys bicker with each all the time. Some dudes flat out hate each other, but that’s everywhere.

I’m still in the honeymoon phase though so I’m just trying to work well with anyone and everyone. Let’s see what happens in a year or two lol.

The only guys who seem to get real disgruntled though seem to want a set schedule and more time with the lady’s or their pets/kids.

    Thanks,

Yeah man it’s pretty peaceful working out there in its own quirky way. If you’re working with a cool guy then time flies but if you’re working an asshole time can drag. Everyone’s cool for the most part. Most men here aren’t looking for drama. The only issue I’ve had is when I’m working with a guy who doesn’t want over time and he starts complaining about wanting to be done already. I’m pretty new still, but if that starts to happen more often I’m going to tell them to slow their roll.

The one thing about this job is that the minute you make plans for something expect to be disappointed

I am a few months late but I am glad that you are happy with the railroad gig. I am in behavioral health and we men are out numbered by females at my facility. The RN’s are predominantly female, as are HR department and the Techs. I am in school now and i will be a counselor in the not to distant future. I will open up my own practice and work with men only. I am 57 years old and pretty strong, but I want to work as long as I can so i am going to need a pretty physically easy job. I need to get out of the regular hospital environment. HR departments are predominantly women and considering the ME TOO movement, there is no way that men will ever get treated fairly again. Good luck mgtow in finding that perfect job.
