My neighbors always had to suffer through this one, when both Power meter needles bottomed out at the 300 Watt/8 ohms mark. The bass takes +3 db and makes the church tower shake with it.

The OP song is a well earned super red pill classic and I – even back then – wondered why it got airplay at all.

Maybe that’s why you nowadays – in Femstad Gynoland – only hear this on c~~~ repellent AOR (Album Oriented Rock) radio stations.

This is one of my favorite 1980’s songs and I always cranked that too. Always had to watch the temperature of the voice coils in my speakers and tried not to burn anything out.

But I threw the circuit breakers one day with this song.

I had exactly these 38/42 cm bass cone speakers back then. And they had 99 dB/1 m efficiency. 300 Watts peak into them would become massively loud.

I was the “audio bad boy” of the village but they never called the cops because I always turned it back down after 1 song… And I never disturbed the quiet hours.

I always had to play it via cassette tape because the volume made the record skip. Even on a heavy foundation underneath the turntable.
