Hello, guys. I discovered MGTOW last year in Youtube with Raging Golden Eagle, and then realized that I wasn’t alone after I opted out of marriage roughly 10 years ago. Unlike many other MGTOWs I’ve seen, I’ve had my first red pill rage when I was in community college in my early 20s when I decided to take a Social Psychology class as an extra since the rest of the classes within my major at that time we’re already full so I had to take it to make 12 credits so the VA can cover my classes as a full time student. But first let me tell you a bit about my past. I was once a great dreamer of becoming a great father and a loving husband, and hoped to do the opposite of what my father did who was once successful and suddenly went downhill when he turned to drugs which caused my mother to divorce him. I was quite bitter about this, but I used it to motivate myself to work hard towards this goal to not suffer the same fate(as well as for my own kids), and then now in that class, I happen to read a chapter in that textbook that little did I know that will turn my life for the worse. I was taught about love at a younger age through religion, movies, and video games, only to discover in that textbook that it was nothing but a lie; a mere romanticized mask of just merely wanting to pass your own genes to your next generation. Love never existed. I became angry since for being lied throughout my life by society, and put me into existential crisis for a year feeling lost until I eventually turned to nihilism; just merely caring about my own work, happiness, and helping the few friends I trust the most. I eventually enlisted in the military, and for the first time in my life I had zero interest in women, even despite some low-key shaming from my shipmates every now and then for being single. I discovered RGE during my last 4 months in active duty, and since then thanks for the MGTOW brotherhood, I learned that I wasn’t alone and learned that my anger 10 years ago was justified. The reasons to opt out of marriage started to add up as I watched more YT videos, and it eventually brought me some relief of repressed bitterness.
My dreams of good marriage, and fatherhood still lingers a bit, so I still don’t know whether I took that red pill or the purple pill, but know that I will never take the blue pill because I will never be fooled again. I would like to thank you all for the welcome, and I still have much red pills to take. Cheers to you all.
P.S.: Just to tell you guys a bit more about myself, I like playing video games and recently got into motorcycles(been riding for 10 months) after I left active duty. Being a rider is one of the best personal accomplishments of my life.
A proud MGTOW rider.
Welcome E2Moto. Nice intro — ringing some bells in my mind, as well.
Have you considered WHY your father chose a pathway of drug use?? Was he trying to escape a nagging/contentious wife??
When women lead, destruction is the destination. -- Me.
Welcome E2Moto, think many of us still dream about the unicorn but realize she doesn’t exist. Glad you found your way here, look forward to reading more from you.
"what a waste of a life, to marry, give up your freedom, just for the hope of not dying alone. Don't get married Son."
welcome E2Moto

Anonymous42Riding the iron bull and holding it’s horns is awesome, like I said in the motorcycle post, tying riding the aluminum eagle holding it’s throat!
We live in the best times ever if you’re single and not legally bound by the law to a life of despotic servitude to the whims and wants of another, another human being of a different gender that by all accounts are lawfully untangle and legally positioned way far above you with every kind of inequitable advantage.

You’re playing with a one-arm-bandit that shoots live ammunition 7 out of 10 tries! Half of all contestants never get out alive! Marriage has become a casino from the pages of hell!
Today’s dreams of a happy married life with a happily married wife all to often end in decades of misery upon misery sometimes your entire life.
You like riding? Guarantee she’ll want that bastion of sovereignty and freedom surrendered at the alter of marriage where society and women both together actually believe a man should surrender life!
Happy wife happy life?
No no,
Happy life without a wife!
The rules to marriage are like chaining your motorcycle to a tree then, and only then, you can go riding!

Yes, it is difficult to realize that what we as men have ego invested in for a lifetime is a lie. Some discover this sooner and some are slow learners! LolWelcome E2Moto. Nice intro — ringing some bells in my mind, as well.

From what I’ve gathered from my mom, it was caused by the influence of his low-quality friends but nevertheless she said he made his choice. My mom worked really hard as a registered nurse to raise me and my brother until she met my step dad, but that didn’t stop her from working. She and my step-dad worked together to get a good middle class life, and they fought every now and then but always reconciled. Anyway, if there is more to it, I may never know since I would prefer not to further pry it from her, and it’s just a distant past now. She is still bitter about it though.

I ride a Suzuki 2016 DRZ400SM, and would hit the twisties every now and then for a bit of adrenaline rush. She’s a real blast to ride, and I’m aiming to eventually buy my second dream bike: The Yamaha FZ-07 naked bike. I want to own both bikes :).
A proud MGTOW rider.
