Be Happy and Have a Good Day (If not for yourself, than out of spite)

Focus on being happy and having a good day. If not for yourself, than out of spite those that wish to bring you misery.

Remember. Most of those whom bring you and everyone around them misery are sadistic, psychotic, narcissistic, bigoted, misandrist, misanthropes. They elevate themselves by tearing down people with false accusations. They make themselves happy by making everyone else miserable.

You being happy brings them pain, because if you are happy that happiness radiates outward in ripples of actions towards other people.

By being “happy”, I am not talking about ecstatic and energetic. I am talking about being relax, conformable, and enjoying what you are doing.

Now, I am not talking being happy by spending money. I am talking about enjoy what you are doing. Such as a hobby, like creating/building, writing, painting, composing/playing music, etc. Another type of happiness if relaxing in a chair and enjoy playing a video game, watching a movie you like, or listening to music. If nothing else, focus on getting some restful, pleasant sleep.

Most days, I am happy for myself. But, those days I have trouble being happy, the spiteful thought that me being happy will bring misery to those that wish to tear me and other people down makes me happy.

I have considered starting a meme of “I am happy, and that is legal.” to p~~~ off those that wish to bring people misery. But, I am having to much fun watching such people self-destruct on their own from their own actions.

So, be happy and have a good day. If not for yourself, than do so out of spite towards those that try to make you miserable.

Good post. I had a weird thing happen today. I reacted less than honorably to an annoyance and Im not proud of it.

About a month ago, when jogging at night thru the ghetto, a black no-gooder was trolling me by following just behind me on a bicycle. It really ticked me off because you dont know what they really intend, to jump you or just fvck with you…

So the seed of apprehension was planted with these homeless type bums on bicycles.

So today, Im running/jogging in a totally different part of town, a nice part by a local lake. So Im in the 8th mile and Im listening to my favorite song that had just come on. A white guy bum with a fishing bucket and a bicycles was on the side of the trail. As soon I passed, he started following me. After about 100 ft, I circle around behind him to show that Im not happy about being followed. In the heat of the moment (9th mile starting) I cant hear anything cause my favorite song is on, I pushed him over from his bicycle and ran off. I said “get the fvck away from me you cuck!” and pushed him over.

In retrospect, he was trying to steer away from me because he didnt realize I was unhappy about him being behind me. I pushed an innocent homeless person off his bicycle. I dont know why I did that, I regret it but luckily he was not injured, it was just a really sh!tty thing to do to someone, especially a bum. It was overkill. The other incident I guess has me on edge. I do not like people fvcking with me when Im trying to exercise. LOL

Just one of those things where you act a certain way and then, in hindsight’s review, you see where you could have acted differently. If I see that guy again Ill apologize.

Well i get the whole not wanting to be attacked while working out.

Wearing headphones though while working out is your problem. it reduces your situational awareness and makes you more paranoid and thinking the worst because it cuts down your reaction time and makes you possibly misjudge a non threat as a threat. like what happened here.

When i am out i have nothing blocking my ears, i want to hear everyone around me, especially if i can’t see them behind me.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

Yea Agent, I know you run a lot too now. This isnt the first time my situational awareness has been blown by earbuds. Im too dependant on them. I hope I come across that same bum again. Im gonna give a real apology and maybe some cash. I feel bad about it.

I think he was mildly mentally disabled and didnt understand he was bothering me. Then me, arrogant and in the heat of the moment without all my senses, did a sh!tty thing and push him off his bicycle. God damn Im an asshole. I know he is okay, its just the regret of it. In a way its funny. But hes probably cursing the world thinking everything sucks now. jeez. Ill see him again. Ill hook him up. Hopefully he will forgive me. Could be worse ya know, could have accidentally shot someone! lol. But I dont own firearms thankfully, Im too crazy to own one

I took a sideways comment from a relative about my decorating style and started a whole lifestyle-update that’s still going on, including making everything “smart”. It started with getting my desk out of the living room and getting all my living room furniture into the actual living room. That in and of itself was a technology project because my digital-audio rack and desk are hard-wired together for music production. Overcoming the tech hurdle turned my desk-relocating project into two new side projects: reorienting my whole house so I have an actual office and a comfortable, mature-looking living room without a desk as the centerpiece. While I got the tech bugs worked out I figured why not dabble with this smart-home sh1t and buy a wifi plug for my coffee pot. Turns out, the bigger flat tv I bought for the system to replace my desk monitor has Amazon Fire TV built into it. And voila, I have Alexa built into my remote. Meanwhile, I discovered the difference a hanging light can make to change the feel of an entire apartment. And a new rug for the living room and some tasteful, non-frilly decorations and plants, and now an Amazon Echo to run all the new wifi lightbulbs throughout the house and play whatever song I can think of. All of this while paying off bills and putting back into order what got f*cked up at the end of my last relationship, finally. I took “clean your room” to the next level.

Yes, I had a good day. I went to cash in on my recent lottery win ($66) and bought more (putting my $25 profit away), then went grocery shopping, did some house chores, checked my computer site updates, had a cold beer, fixed my mini fridge (the freezer wire got pulled out while deicing it yesterday), watched the local news, checked online for ways to make money selling things off eBay for a profit, and now it’s 2 hours of Married With Children on WGN America.

I don’t have good days because someone is trying to make me miserable. I’m only happy happen when good things happen.

    Sound advice.
Who is really being punished by you having a shyte day/week/year/life?
I will lay odds it isn’t anyone else but YOU.
I keep a “grumpy old man” persona up because folks dont know if its real or not. Keep the ass clowns guessing and enjoy life.

    Gravel, yeah just chill man.
I’ll agree with you that pushing people off their bikes is not the thing to do.
    Gotta share the road.
