70 MPs Slam BBC over ‘Unfair’ and ‘Pessimistic’ Brexit Bias

Writing to Lord Hall, the director-general of the BBC, the politicians said the BBC’s Brexit coverage was biased, “pessimistic and skewed”, and had downplayed much of the positive economic news since the June referendum.

The MPs who signed the letter include 60 Conservative MPs, three Labour MPs, eight DUP MPs, and Douglas Carswell, UKIP’s only MP.

“BBC bias can have a substantial effect on national debate. We fear that, by misrepresenting our country either as xenophobic or regretful of the Leave vote, the BBC will undermine our efforts to carve out a new, global role for this country,” the MPs wrote.

It looks like the BBC’s days could be numbered as petition was also signed recently by over 100,000 people so Parliament has to consider the issue of scrapping the BBC.

Oh the BBC are known for lying. You know we have to pay a TV licence fee of £145 per year. If you don’t they prosecute you. They outsourced enforcement to Capita who come round with the bully boy police.

Your assuming the authorities are non corrupt and give a s~~~ about the law.

It’s one law for them and one law for us.

BBC is a government department which spews out bulls~~~ and propoganda.

They have been caught out lots of times over the years.

Gas companies, bailifs, local councils et al all use fake court warrants which are not legal if yo try to say that the police take their side even though it is illegal.

Occasionaly there is a decent copper who knows or checks the law and tells them to go but that is a rareity.

The BBC actually helped brexit along with all other British media outlets. Non stop headlines connecting anything and everything negative with migrants into the UK was what caused brexit. And the BBC was part of this drive. And as soon the election time came up, some of these outlets then suddenly pretended that they are in favour of remaining in the EU. Its a clever kind of psychological tactic. It was used in America to promote Trump, contrary to what many think. If the American media really hated Trump, they would have SHUT HIM OUT and given him NO AIR TIME! This is the main point that people are missing.

Surely you are not denying the issue with excess immigration in Britain, Germany, Sweden look how little coverage there has been on the Paris riots.

They don’t, per se — but almost all radio receiver designs are based on taking a signal from a local oscillator (part of the receiver) and mixing it with the incoming signal in a process called “heterodyning”. The local oscillator radiates a tiny bit of energy back into the antenna. It’s not an intentional design feature; it’s just the nature of the beast.

Those whole concept of government run broadcasting while forcing people to pay a fee to listen only demonstrates the contempt the U.K. government has for actual free speech.

The BBC should have had its taxpayer funding cut off decades ago. As well as eliminating that bulls~~~ licensing shakedown. Open up the airwaves, allow actual free speech, and make the f~~~ers earn their keep for a change.

^this. Also back in the days of the old Cathode Ray Tube televisions, that giant CRT was a huge transmitter. Not a good one, but a big one.
