One of the recurring themes in the trailer is to highlight a woman with a missing arm somehow fighting in the thick of battle. Yes, there’s a disabled woman fighting on the battlefield in World War II… and the verdict is still out on if she’s a lesbian, but given today’s politically distorted promotion of degeneracy and regressive policies, don’t be surprised if she’s a one-armed, disabled, lesbian.

The argument “it is just a game” doesn’t wash with me anymore – soon this s~~~ will be taught in schools

I was able to work with the deployment issues with Battlefield 4 release, and my patience was rewarded as they eventually worked out the issues.

But I passed on the watered-down Battlefield Hardline. I passed on Star Wars Battlefront after playing the Beta and deciding the game play was s~~~. I passed on Battlefield 1 after the same. I passed on Star Wars Battlefront 2 entirely, not even trying the Beta.

I’m skeptical about this BF5. Supposedly the story line involves teaming up with a female Norwegian freedom fighter against the Nazis (sort of like Manon Batiste in the 2002 game “Medal of Honor: Allied Assault” – a great game I occasionally play from time to time). So I don’t mind a Manon Batiste concept but they go over the top with blue face paint and a prosthetic arm.

I’m not optimistic, although I did read about the game play and it did at least sound intriguing, but I’m not optimistic about the SJW s~~~. At least it won’t have loot boxes.

If people were just upset over there being women in a WWII game they’d have a point, there were tons of women who fought in the war, especially on the Allied side, and quite a few of them had more stones than their male counterparts did – the Soviet Union saw to that.

Very few if any women in the Western allies would have been doing actual gun battles. Exception being perhaps the French Maquis or other kinds of partisan guerilla fighters.

The Soviets on the other hand, there were a lot more than just a few women snipers, about 2,000. 3/4 of them died in the war.

Of regular soldiers, there were several hundred thousand Soviet female soldiers. There was for example, an engagement (Stalingrad, I think) near a tank factory, where the Germans encountered heavy resistance, and when they finally defeated their enemy, they found the bodies of dozens of armed female tank factory workers who fought to the last person.

With the exception of a couple snipers, some medics, and a few scouts, there were exactly zero women in active combat zones. We knew in WW2 that women were less than f~~~ing useless on the battlefield–they were active liabilities.

I’m sure you’ve all seen the training video of a woman trying to toss a grenade, she pulls the pin and drops it, and the drill sergeant literally tackles her across a sand bag and saves her f~~~ing life. That’s a “good” female soldier.

Well to be fair, I also saw a video of a Chinese soldier trying to toss a grenade, but he basically did the same thing and the instructor tackled him.

Holding a live grenade is not the time to play hot potato.

When I was in Navy bootcamp, my company passed by a bunch of marching female recruits. They reminded me of barking Chihuahuas. We all went falsetto in our cadence when we passed them by, and ended up having to do pushups for it, but it was worth it.

I only have a problem on this one because of the sheer historical revisionism. If this where based on anything other than a real war I wouldn’t actually have a problem with it. But the women folk of the World War’s and Vietnam where and remain draft dodgers. They chose not to serve and in fact delayed their own suffrage to avoid having to serve. If I had been forced to serve in any of those 3 wars I would view this as a personal insult.

That being said Violet Evergarden is a better character.

When you actually watch the first season you can see what good writing actually looks like. But what really is objectionable is that for the most part Violet is the polar opposite of every woman who has ever lived. This whole thing is about primarily self aggrandizement, a bunch of white girls want to rewrite history. So they don’t have to face the fact themselves and their great grand mothers are cowards and draft dodgers.

3rd time trying to post this… it’s gonna be one of those days.

The U.S. had 350,000 women out of 16,000,000 soldiers. Russia had 800,000 women out of 34,000,000 soldiers. U.S. women didn’t typically see combat, whereas, Russian women did as some of the war was fought in their country. Russia did have a recorded female snipers, which isn’t the same as a general infantry soldier.

Even accounting for all women it’s only 2% of either force that fought. Not really a major contribution.

Think most people have problems with the robotic arm and the historical inaccuracy. Which are both valid complaints. Glad this game got called out as “SJWWII”. It’s not even as if this is limited to internet trolls. Could that be the… the winds of change? Time will tell but sure seems like a storm is brewing.
