Regardless of how someone interacts within MGTOW.com, becoming engaged has positive benefits for the individual, as well as other members of the larger group.

While social networks are much more popular, forums continue to have value in part because they afford users anonymous interaction. Represented by 20% of online users within the U.S.A. and 10% within the U.K., online forum interaction fosters offline engagement at the same time.

The use of MGTOW.com to engage and interact with other members fosters a sense of wellbeing because member expectations are met, or often exceeded, which leads to higher levels of personal identification with the site/forum.

This may seem like a paradox as online interaction often equates to reduced face-to-face interaction with family and friends, however, MGTOW.com members are already faced with this reduction as a result of the circumstances that lead them to the site. Employment issues, child custody decisions, financial disruptions, and other post relationship issues result in dramatic changes to members social circles and associated interactions.

Members who communicate more and find support from fellow site members are less stressed, happier and/or psychologically healthier for the most part. The resources available on MGTOW.com (sections, forums, and PM functionality) and subsequent relationships formed assist most active members in achieving these positive behavior changes.

The sense of wellbeing and belonging created on MGTOW.com, and other social communities, can facilitate members to become more motivated to work on behalf of those issues discussed online within their offline local community and workplace. These civic-minded actions promote remote participation via the forum, as well as local participation with non-forum members. Regardless of the action/activity, active MGTOW.com members have the opportunity to realize both personal and society level effects, as they choose.

Members who have fewer interactions, do not establish relationships with other members, establish a weaker sense of group membership and do not use site resources / support tend to feel lonelier, be more depressed and psychologically less well.

Think of those members who have recently left / been removed from MGTOW.com and the site drama their actions precipitated. Now consider those active MGTOW.com members who have significant personal issues that they continue to successfully address each day with the help of MGTOW.com members and resources. Active use of MGTOW.com resources and support can be contributed to this outcome difference.

While too much activity can result in feelings of isolation, depression and other emotional problems (even while meeting people online), continued interaction eventually reduces all issues except increased stress. ACTIVE online interaction eventually supplements face-to-face interactions, rather than supplanting them. This is evidenced by the increase in members traveling to meet peers locally, nationallly and internationally. Active members establish meaningful connections with MGTOW.com members, which results in the development of a stronger sense of community regarding topics of common interests, while attempting to resolve issues / interests that are not found offline.

Having dedicated online resources via MGTOW.com allows members to assemble, and discuss items of relevance that then can be enacted off-line in their respective communities. A win-win outcome beneficial to all concerned.

Thank you to KeyMaster for his continued efforts is providing MGTOW.com, and all those members I interact with via private message, reading their publications, telephone conversations, web conference sessions and personal electronic email.

That has been my experience. The help I have gotten from the men here changed my life. There is a lot going on behind the scenes as evidenced by the video conferences and the members who have travled to meet. You get out of MGTOW what you put into it.

    Great topic GregBO.

    Thank you MW.

MGTOW.com certainly is a win-win for members who are active and participate. As you alluded, those members who do not take advantage of MGTOW.com / member resources always seem to have poorer lives and constant troubles. One can only imagine how their interactions with the local community goes.

Anything that can reduce the stress in ones life ALWAYS has an immediate and long term positive benefit.

I was thinking I would like to connect with members on Zoom sometime – is this part of MGTOM.com or is it something seperate ? I understand there is a vetting process to go through first ? I would need to upgrade my internet connection also.

You can test your computer / internet connection at https://zoom.us/test to see how things work. Just click on join session and join via computer audio.

Great post GregBo…I can attest that my recovery from my failed marriage was much faster when I found this site…The fact that everything made sense made me accept my situation and forego wishful thinking or supposed “closure”…

This site enabled me to focus on my own well being and my own life…It allowed me to take responsibility for the mess I am in and make changes in my life to better my situation…

Granted that I am still just plodding along, rudderless and without direction…I am at least content in the knowledge that I no longer feel like I am sinking…This site saved my life and save me time from spiraling down into endless misery and questions why my marriage failed…

This site allowed me to say…”She left, then f~~~ it. I still have my life and I am going to live it my way…” Plus, I am no longer ashamed to be a MAN…Big thanks to KM and to all my brothers here…I wont mention each one but you guys helped me a lot not only with our interactions but also for posting…Cheers my brothers…

I stand with feet apart and let my balls hang free...Manginas dont have balls...See how they stand and sit at the whim of their masters...

    Great topic.
The title in and of itself may be the understatement of the century.
Too many “well meaning” “friends” jump up and down on a man when he is down, outside of here.
Motown.com strengthens men, and the laydeez don’t like that one iota.

Words of wisdom and words to live by:

    to take responsibility

I still have my life and I am going to live it my way

Maturity is indeed structured around being responsible for oneself and ones actions, and then continuing to do the best one can.
