I got reprimanded many years ago at a previous job. I should have NEVER got in trouble and they knew it. When they asked if I had any questions I asked the following- “Would you do this to me if I was anything other than a conservative heterosexual Caucasian male”? They all looked at each other not knowing how to answer. So I asked them again in another language. They politely asked me to leave.

A week later they called me in the office offering an attractive severance package. I said no and asked for more. They gave me just enough to quietly leave. Most of the time it doesn’t pay to call HR/management out. This time it paid.

All the other groups have leeched off of us and it is never enough. They demand more and while we made everything possible we are scorned and treated like s~~~.
