MOST people that are married are sticking with it for other reasons (IE: cash, kids, resources, etc.) then “Love”.

I first heard reference of women having backup men when I was still Blue Pilled. That was one of my earliest red pills about female nature.

There was a survey of 1,000 British women by onepoll.com that said about 50% of them had a fallback man.

Years ago while still married(but separated), I hit on this woman business owner that had appeal to me. I didn’t really want to “bed” her, rather was just interested to know how she felt about me. She put out the vibe that she was single, but I later found out she was indeed married w/2 kids. She has ZERO interest in me.

Fast forward a few years and I am divorced; she is separating from her husband. I am in the best shape i had been since 20yrs old, and loving life. We would cross paths every so-often and when we did, there was always a lengthy, friendly conversation.
So Friendly in fact that it raised caution flags. Why the total change of character concerning our remotely outward friendship? Why all the sexual innuendo in conversation ?
Turns out SHE was now Divorced, and LOOKING for a SECOND HUSBAND. Preferably one with a stable job in a corporate atmosphere with good benefits,….. hmmmmm. Unknowing to me I became the 2nd husband candidate and probably would be married by now had I not figured her troll game out.

To be fair, 85% of women THINK they have a back up man. They also think the grass is always greener on the other side, and constantly overvalue their vaginas after they have hit the wall. THIS is why women end up bitter old cat ladies. They think they can trade up so they get divorced, they get used and abused for a few years, I’m sorry they discover their sexual freedom, and then they look to settle down with Beta 2.0. He wasn’t good enough, so she proposed marriage to me while engaged to him. This is what actually happened. When I write it all out I hardly believe a person could do these things. That I think is one thing that really bothers me. How similar so many of our stories are. It’s eerie how… well… AWALT.

Related to the backup guy thing I think I’ve mentioned this previously but in college I remember talking with some friends. None of us had much dating experience but I shared my gut feeling insight on a few things I thought about women. Funny it turned out to be true. I said:

1. I think women cheat more than men.
2. I think women are better liars than men and lie more than men.
3. I think all women lie about their sexual history (so as not to seem too slutty)
4. I think all women have a backup guy.

Funny since my divorce I’ve noticed several studies that have confirmed all these things. So I had some good gut insight at a young age, but I still fell into the trap. Because I thought I found a special snowflake.

What about the other 15%?
Such 15% seems quite unwomanly: women need security, so 15% not having a backup solution seems unlikely.
More likely that such 15% have 2 or more backup husbands in the waiting.
