AWALT vs NAWALT

Recently I’ve been thinking about the issues of the NAWALT’s vs. our general AWALT viewpoint. Here’s what I came up with. Please add or subtract based on your experiences.

NAWALT: beautiful, kind, compassionate, fitness-minded, honest, caring, unselfish, quiet, decisive, wise, discerning, independent, responsible, thoughtful, consistent.

AWALT: dishonest, selfish, hypocritical, irrational, thoughtless, unaccountable, inconsistent, indecisive, self-absorbed.

I do like your characteristics list though. I’d like to add “mean” to the AWALT list.

I think you have to look at it in the whole package and not just individual traits. A woman could very well be NAWALT in one or two areas, like fitness for example, but she’s not going to be NAWALT in every place that it matters.

They are all manipulative and out for there own good first. How they present themselves is just there personal MO to accomplish there goal.

It can get confusing as women have different personalities.

The ladies who are overtly nasty are easy- walk away.

It’s the “nice” ladies who have tricked me in the past. When a lady outwardly appears polite, respectful and kind – watch out.
I get mad at myself sometimes for giving the “nice” ladies the benefit of the doubt.
When I think about it, almost all of my doc friends who were burned were burned by nice ladies (myself included).
I think some ladies are smart enough to behave themselves until they have bagged a wallet. Then all hell breaks loose.
So I think we have to be careful. AWALT, but some act decently until they have roped you.

Key is making them think that they’ve got you.
But it’s like playing with fire, while soaked in gasoline, and having been allowed to spread gasoline vapor.

NAWALTs are exactly this. There’s no such thing as a true “NAWALT” and never has been. Sure, you’ll get nice women here and there, and a lot of women will stick with their husbands all their lives. But, even those wives who appear like the perfect NAWALT on the outside are still AWALTs on the inside.

If they had the chance to f~~~ someone like Tom Cruise, they’d do it right then and there.

So the trick is to enjoy the decent parts and then walk away. My strategy for that btw has always been to refuse to propose marriage. I had one pay for a trip to New York, and took me to the top of the Empire State building. You should have seen the daggers in her eyes on the way back to the hotel when nothing happened (no proposal). Eventually they figure out that the proposal is never coming and leave on their own. Getting pregnant to coerce a proposal isn’t an option either because they know I already have one (great!) kid and never married her mom. They can plainly see that I don’t have a problem with that.

Worse yet, apparently (in California at least) if you ask for a prenup after a date has been set, it’s completely invalid as it it considered to be signed under duress. YMMV, IANAL, etc.
