It is thus no surprise that women have perfected the use of sleep deprivation to psychologically attack us when we are in this vulnerable state.

Too many times my ex would wake up in the middle of the night to start some s~~~, either sitting on me and smacking me around because she dreamed I was cheating, or she would have some deep philosophical question like why are the opposite sides of a coin different.

One time she woke up and told me she heard a noise. It was one of our children going to the toilet and the dog wagging her tail slapping against the wall.

Yeah, arguments at 3am over which way to drive somewhere, why did I always mow the front yard first, f~~~ me why do I put my right shoe on first, how does the sink disposal work, where did I learn how to fix things, why did I talk to the cashier at JCPennys and how long had I been f~~~ing her. Just stupid twaddle like that

I couldn’t give her an answer, I said something I don’t remember what…probably something like we are supposed to take care of each other and our kids. Good male perspective answer. Men are supposed to take care of weaker things, like women and children. Maybe I was supposed to say that loving her felt good, or some bs thing like that. I’m not a feelings kind of guy.

I didn’t think much about that conversation at the time, but a couple weeks later, my marriage almost my life came to an end.

I think women do this because they think our subconscious mind is more truthful, and more vulnerable in the middle of the night. We are at our weakest when we are awakened from a sound sleep. Woman may have been laying there for hours with the hamster wheel running trying to figure out some great mystery of life, and running out of talent. Maybe our half awake answer is without total logical thought and more appears to be more feeling based and so women understand better? I don’t know. I don’t care.
