First up, if you haven’t played the new Deus Ex game and intend to do so, this is your SPOILER ALERT.
With that out of the way, I was discussing the game’s plot with a friend of mine and came to a proper red pill conclusion, despite some of the typical SJW homework lying scattered through the story (causing, as is the case with more and more modern movies, shows, and games, the plot to reach so far that a full blue pill story loops back in on itself to become blood red).

For those of you who either don’t game or aren’t planning to pick it up, Deus Ex is set in a future iteration of Earth that is on the downward slope into dystopia. Human augmentation has taken a turn that’s decisively double-edged: the medical field is booming because amputation and loss of mobility or motility are readily overcome by cybernetics, but industry and the military sector have introduced weapons-grade human augmentation that makes terrorism and mercenary work capable of doing an army’s worth of damage with a handful of soldiers.
There’s an… event, at the end of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The event, really; something referred to as the “Aug Incident”, when everyone with significant augmentation went berserk due to a global signal burst orchestrated by a globalist leader, resulting in millions of non-augmented people being wounded or murdered.
Now, in the newest game — Mankind Divided — a mechanical sort of apartheid has been introduced and state police have been upgraded to State Police (if you catch my meaning), so that “potential threats” and “public peace” can be better dealt with. This includes rapid militarization of the police force, approved use of drones, and assault/siege weapons and tac gear… paired with a social movement that openly encourages imprisoning or even outright euthanizing augmented humans or “augs” who fail to have their augmentations removed. Augments also require Neuropozyne, a synthetic medication that prevents organ rejection symptoms present in all cases save for some 0.001% of the population, which is rationed by medical conglomerates that have been starving entire sections of the globe (killing even more augs with slow, excruciating deaths, to no outrage by the general public).
Even further, augs are being collected into slums outside major cities — for “their protection as much as others'”, of course — while those who remain in society are bombarded with moral arguments (“do it for your family, don’t you love them?”), public shaming (“filthy hanzer!”, “move it along, clank”), and demanded to prove themselves through work (“you might as well be doing something useful, wrench”). Politicians run on specifically anti-aug platforms to thunderous approval, 24/7 media sites (run by AI and human hive minds to coordinate information) orchestrate a collective perspective to paint augs in the most dangerous possible light…
… are you starting to catch on to where I’m going with this?
Now, knowing what I do of the gaming industry and who I do that’s a part of it, the vast majority of developers are blue-pilled manginas (especially in Montreal) trying to create something they like, but their wives would still approve of. I say this even having good friends in game development… who have actually said phrases like “There’s this one title I was offered a position with, but I know my wife would never appreciate me working on” — as if her opinion is reason enough to turn down spectacularly-paying work. So, generally speaking, I’m sure the narrative here is struggling to dredge up the “race wars” of the 1960s — because boy, do SJWs and their pawns love bringing their revisionist past into the modern era — or otherwise bring some kind of shame to well-off white men everywhere, but it delivers a message that is eerily red pill.
I like to hope that the writers redpilled partway through their work and strove to sneak this in just under the development radar. There’s so many corollary elements with MGTOW and even MRA-related discussion at large that it’s a shock to me that this came out of Eidos Montreal in its current form.
Enjoy the rest of the week and your weekend, gentlemen, and take pride in yourselves. You’re Augs; improvements upon humanity with the capacity to serve a far greater purpose than society demands of you. Don’t let them drag you down to their level, no matter how loudly they scream “equality”.

Slightly off topic, but yes I wanted to play Deus Ex but never got round to it. There are a lot of my old games I’d like to play again but Win 7 doesn’t support them. Anyone know of a good free reliable virtual XP program I can install to play old games?

Lucky for you, if you’ve still got a Windows 7 rig, you can use Windows XP Mode straight from Microsoft.
