There is a guy that I know who was recently taken to court by his girlfriend. She ended up filling a restraining order on him after they broke up. He is also a firm believer in the 2nd amendment who has guns and is a collector. She had the court come after his guns because she felt threatened. So now his guns are ceased. Its not worth it men to have any relationship at all with these women.

This is VERY common in Canada! P~~~ off the wife/GF, all she has to do is dial ‘1-800-Come-Take-His-Guns’. It’s the only time you’ll get an instantaneous response by the RCMP.

I can’t count the number of times that I’ve seen this happen to innocent men. Not once was there ever a legitimate reason for the guns being confiscated…

‘Read a story about a guy who was ordered to turn in his guns. He had something like a dozen semi auto rifles. He showed up a couple days later at police station with a bag. ‘Dumped it out on the counter and made a pile of just the lowers (the only piece of the gun with a serial number on it). No other parts, just those. He explained that these were his ‘guns’, but that some of them were missing some of the parts.

Cops were p~~~ed. But technically, he had turned in his ‘guns’. Apparently, those are relatively cheap parts to replace.

PS – It’s a lot more difficult for them to file a restraining order against you if you don’t give them your real name/address.
