At long last: soon some hassle shall be over…

The other day I heard some message of relief after months and months. Guess what, I happened to bump into my next door neighbor (who I never really met anyway) outside of my flat pushing a heavy duty trolley, so I asked him if he’s moving out and he confirmed it (“yes, strike” I thought to myself and those of you, who followed my topic of nearly one year ago will know why…).

It was the blue pill guy with his overly hysterical hyper crazy girlfriend, who kept arguing with him very noisily on a regular basis about once a week as it were and usually especially at night, so at times I could hardly even sleep. Well, here is the link to the old story of mine just in case you might have missed it.

Anyway so they are both going to move out pretty soon and I am finally gonna have my peace and quiet once again. Now I know in my original topic I said (back then!), that I got quite used to it, since this was going on for a bit more than a year now, but boy one night when they were in yet another violent “action” fight once again and I had to get to sleep to get up really early the next day I simply couldn’t help myself anymore and just had to raise my voice mostly meant against her obviously, since he was the rather quiet douche bag in the background of the two.

Well, from that point forward I kept wondering how much longer it might take them to move out again and now there we go, finally. Phew!

Ok, even though he seems quite a weak jerk of sorts I still wished him all the best for his future and he thanked me for that. She wasn’t even around when we met and briefly talked, so he actually related some hefty stories ie. a heavy drinking problem on her part (now that would actually explain lots of it).

I mean if I was in his shoes I would have dumped her at least months ago, but I guess he has to do whatever he prefers and has to go his way which might possibly one day even lead him here, since I did drop a very slight hint just in case (given that rare opportunity of that brief encounter…), so he might still be saved in the end, who knows…

So that will be my well intended deed for the day.

Back when I was in apartment land, I had 3 sets of bad noisy neighbors in a row. I was friends with the owner of the complex so I got people kicked out if they were out of control. All was fine until he sold the complex. The new owner kept the same property management company but suddenly they started renting out to some ghetto pieces of s~~~. I had no more clout so I moved out.

i know it sucks..
i bought ear plugs once because it was so bad..
and when i tried to reason with them they were these gangster bad ass russians, with the stainless steel teeth.bad motherf~~~ers..

Well meant advice there Hitman, truly.
But you see the trouble with earplugs in my case is that if I had them in I would hardly even hear the alarm clock in the morning either so if I had a very early morning start… … that would be a bit iffy, plus on top of this once I am asleep, then I usually got some very solid sleep so the next morning I could have a bomb going off next to my bed and I’d just turn around snoring on and away. But the real tricky part is to get there in the first place…

My solid sleep is the very reason that I actually got not just one but three alarm clocks set, especially so on very early starting days, which I hate as work shifts. What can I say: I am a “night owl” type.

How can I get my neighbor to move? He leaves his back patio lights on full blast all night and has three chihuahuas that are outside barking all day.

Anyone got any strategies for dealing with annoying neighbors?

That’s awesome Ned! A good friend is having his roommate and alcoholic girlfriend leaving tomorrow.

I f~~~ing hate chihuahuas for that very reason plus they can’t be house trained very well. Since he likes his lights so much, I’d buy an eye safe laser and point it at his bedroom window running for as long as it takes until he gets the point. Do you own a pellet gun per chance? Some people just have no consideration.

My neighbors across the street are all dead as I live across from a graveyard. Damn good neighbors they are.

My current issue is that one neighbor’s grandson is stealing gasoline from my older car whenever he stays with her. His car is there. My gasoline disappears. He goes away for a couple of weeks, and my gas needle stays put. I got hit again last night. F~~~ him, because I’m leaving the car sitting on empty and driving my siphon proof truck.

I guess I need to get off my ass and buy a locking gas cap. I hate them though.
