Anonymous11they are nagging and bossy and when they get bored of you they divorce you and take away your stuff without blinking an eye.
This seems universal. The nagging and bossiness I can handle quite well. I’ll never get married so I’m immune to that trap.
I often wish we had more of a parliamentary style system like you have in most of Europe instead of this two party no real choice stranglehold.
At least in Germany there is no big choice either, we got plenty of parties but actually only 4 of them have a chance to gain a decent percentage of voters (Conservatives (CDU), Middle-Left (SPD), The Greens (die Grünen/ Left-Middle & Green oriented > against NPPs etc.) and FDP (Liberals). All the other parties we got here either get screwed over by scandals or are just too far from reality with their dreams/programs or have strong tendencies to the right (which puts them in the spotlight).
Since I can´t vote here I don´t mind neither of them and if I could vote I wouldn´t either, that would be just confirming the existing system, giving you the illusion of choice, f~~~ that. I doubt there´s much countries in Europe that are different, except for Switzerland maybe where there´s referendums.
Here no chance of something like that, Ireland had a referendum before they entered the Euro-Zone, GB had one for leaving. No such thing in Germany, Euro was put on the citizens without asking at all, prices almost doubled, salaries stayed the same. Fuel taxes to cover the retirement, disorganization at it´s best. Politicians stuff their pockets and decide about things like sealed single use containers for olive oil in restaurants or how they screw up investments in the most idiotic manner.Ah, women. They make the highs higher and the lows more frequent. Friedrich Nietzsche

Sorry, it’s 50k for laws, not 10k. Or 100k if you want to change the constitution. Still, it’s very little.
A man shouldn't make his life's objective to be on the side of the majority, but to avoid finding himself in the ranks of the insane. (Marcus Aurelius)
Anonymous11So you have twice as many locked in parties as we do with the same results. We have a number of smaller parties here too, but the D’s and R’s collude to lock them out as much as possible.
The Libertarian party nominee is polling higher than normal for them. There is also some left wing party c~~~ who is polling nearly the same as Gary Johnson (L) so they’ll cancel each other. This election is way more important over here, because we have an actual sociopath or possible psychopath as the Democrat nominee.
Every thing she has ever managed has turned to s~~~, just ask the black Libyans who were protected by Khadaffy(However it’s spelled this week???) prior to our meddling in Libya. I’ve read of some horrific atrocities inflicted on them by the Arabs.
