I don’t hide my MGTOW views, but neither do I express them unless the situation calls for it (like when I’ve already engaged in a conversation that drifts toward feminism or women’s rights or some such, or if somebody directly asks my opinion). In short, my close friends and most of my family members know my views on relationships and marriage, though I don’t think I’ve explicitly mentioned the term “MGTOW” to more than one or two of them.

Last year I attended a semi-distant relative’s birthday party and ended up seated at a table with an outspoken feminist – a retired M.D., a distant relative on my father’s side, and also an old friend of my mother.

We talked about a bunch of different subjects, and eventually ended up on feminism. I told her about how, once you adjust for hours worked, overtime compensation, profession and so on that the wage gap no longer exists, and that modern feminism continually tries to milk “inequalities” that haven’t existed for decades by deliberately skewing statistics. I told her about the inequalities in the justice system, how women get shorter sentences for the exact same crime, how courts almost always give them custody of children even if the women in question end up deliberately lying to the courts and police officers and others, use alcohol or other drugs, and so on. I told her about how modern feminists don’t want equality in the workforce – after all, they don’t want “affirmative action” in professions that lack sociopolitical power or carry inherent danger – but rather only want power. Etc, etc.

She defended feminism, talking about how when she first started working as an M.D. the female doctors got paid less for the exact same work, had less likelihood of promotions, and so on. I smiled and explained to her the three “waves” of feminism, how the first wave did mostly good things, the second wave brought more of a mixed bag, and the third wave has pretty much done 99% bad stuff. I also explained that she belonged to the second wave and that modern feminism didn’t look anything at all like it did during her time in the movement. While she conceded to my arguments on some of the various points, she refused to believe that third wave feminism had deviated so much from earlier waves, despite the many examples I used. I urged her to go double-check everything I said once she got home. I don’t know if she did or not, but she definitely seemed troubled (as opposed to knee-jerk upset/in denial) by my words, so I’d like to think that she did some research after.

Her reactions give me hope that the whole AWALT thing may actually have more to do with learned behaviors as opposed to genetics (though genetics obviously still play a part – she had definitely received the gift of higher-than-average intelligence) and that women may one day deviate from that path. I actually have read up on things relating to this subject, and it appears to me that, at least in the past hundred years or so that I’ve read up on, unicorns have existed, albeit always in the minority, and sadly one which has shrunk with each passing generation to the point where I have never personally encountered one, nor have I heard of anyone encountering one in my generation.

In any case, while I don’t usually bring up the subject of feminism and MGTOW on my own, I don’t hesitate to say my piece when somebody else brings it up first, for good or ill.

I’m an open MGTOW. Live alone, no women in life nor will be. Do what I want when I want.

    Been interesting family discussions.
Mum thinks I hate women as I don’t want one and even asked if I turned gay LOL. Doesn’t help when I tell her if they didn’t have vagina’s, they would be 10 deep at the rubbish tip.
My 3 brothers, well 2 understand and support me being MGTOW after last wife and one trying to use me as a sperm bank. I do feed them red pills, but in a nice way, pointing out s~~~ when their wives do what they do and when they do plantation work. The other just doesn’t understand why I don’t want a girl friend or another wife.

My son and daughter both happy for me as I’m happy.

Girls at work are horrified that I want nothing to do with a women in a relationship. Keep getting the NAWALT speech and looking in the wrong places.

God, Bunker, I missed all you MGTOW stream of consciousness posts!

You’re a genius beat poet with a MGTOW riff.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

For most of the small number of times I’ve been asked about my relationship status, I just chuckle and say I enjoy being single. Using terms that are unknown to most people and misunderstood by most that have heard the term is useless. I don’t owe an explanation to anyone anyways, so I just keep it short and use the above statement and they can take it however they want to. My brother is the only person I’ve spoken with about my stance in depth.

#007, what’s your field of study? Law, medicine, mgt, tech.

    So just.. “GO ENGINEER”.
Meaning.. just be known as a book worm, quiet and reserved, always tuning your craft. It will later serve you well. A VP who later became a pal was told to not fire me in the round of firing as I had a wicked tech. library of self funded books and was quiet the resource.

Now you can leverage the nature of women… they cannot grasp the tech and in time.. you have the lion share of the work. The you have some leverage to bully mgt. into raises and bonuses.

Thanks Bunker Mode. I always look forward to your responses. You are a well of infinite wisdom.

To answer your question, I’m drenched in two fields: psychology and audio engineering. I already have have an AA in a psych related field and I’m working on an AA in AE.

My psych degree helped me get into my current position. I love current aspects of my job, but I don’t see myself doing it for more than 5 years.

I’m more of an analytical guy, so naturally I was drawn to audio engineering. It is quite challenging and time consuming, but I’m keeping up with my classes while working full time. The payout could be great if I keep on trucking.

My current career choice is is just a hot hold while I get educated. I make enough money to save half of my income and occasionally indulge in whatever poison I choose, but I’ll be sure not to indulge in any venomous women on my path to fulfillment

    Pursuing Happiness and Freedom.

Personally i am more open about my mgtow status but i do not refer to it as mgtow usually ill just say i am going my own way or go your own way in life. It tends to p~~~ women who find out that i openly say and believe that my life and happiness should come first before any relationship or marriage. They tend to be intrigued by it but i know better then to risk my happiness.

Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.
