But what about Abandonware and other orphan copyrights? Pirating, say, the latest Batman game, Arkham Knight, obviously isn’t cricket, but there are a lot of fun games out there for which there simply isn’t any possible way to purchase a new, unused, legal copy. If I want to play, say, Wing Commander: Privateer or the original Conker: BFD, it’s not like I’m going to be able to walk down to my local Friendly Neighborhood Game Shop and pick up a fresh-in-box cartridge, much less a new console to play it on. the only way I can play it is with a ROM or ISO using an emulator.

At that point, there’s no way around. I’d have to pirate it if I wanted a copy of it using an emulator. So, that’s makes sense when it comes to that.

    Yes and no.
As pointed before women tend to spend money easier than men.
Especially to buy cheap things, even if they are completely pointless.
Its kinda like: A woman will buy a things she does not need if its 50% cheaper.
A guy will buy something he needs/wants even if its 50% more expensive.

on the NO side, mobile gaming is also for more casual gaming as well as “on the go” gaming. There are less hardcore games now days and tv is dumbing down people so much that a complicated game feels to them like when a 5 year old cannot do something his parents asked him and just gets mad.

You have most likely met many of these if you play online with or against people. But pressing X 6 times in a row when a big button appears on screen for your character to do triple back flips while eating a steak and drawing a Picasso does not require much work…

    So… yes and no :D.
