Are women only ride sharing services discriminatory?

Have you gentlemen heard about “Chariot for Women”, a ride sharing service exclusively for women that will start in Boston on April 19th?

Chariot for Women will not service men.

Drivers and riders are women only.

Michael Pelletz, the founder, states, “Women are across the world being harassed and assaulted by male drivers.” His wife is the president of the company.

I’ll bet ladies flock to a women only ride sharing service.

Check out the “New Sexist Uber Car Service for Women” topic for more comments on this issue. It is clearly discriminatory but, as usual, they may get away with it because women are allowed to discriminate against men, like with female only gyms.

The fact that there are numerous female only taxi services in existence screams loudly of female privilege. I wonder if there are any man only services anywhere.

Guys, in Italy we have 3 months paid leave for women who are victims of domestic violence but NOT for men who are victims of domestic violence.
The law granting such paid leave says “WOMEN”, not “PERSON” or “PEOPLE” or “CITIZEN”.
