    The next Bond?

Daniel Craig stated that he would rather slash his wrists before he would play Bond again. And after his last outing where he looked bored and embarrassed throughout I would rather shove wasps up my arse than have to watch him mentally counting money every second of his “performance” ( and at $3400 per second that is a lot of counting )

So, is Tom Hardy staking his claim to be next up in this scene from Legend?

I liked the first of the current James Bond movies. I tried to watch it again, and I found I couldn’t. What was an edge-of-the-seat thriller on the first watching, was a frank bore the second time around.

What this means about the next Bond actor, I cannot say. I can say I’m done with this one.

Didn’t like Craig playing James Bond anyways. No matter how hard he tried he just don’t fit the bill.
They should’ve killed the character in the last Brosnan’s film and be done with it. I think we’ve seen everything this franchise had to offer.

The first bond movies with sean connery were good.
The last movies were a piece of crap, a lot of cgi but no acting, no carisma.

The Sean Connery ones were and are by far the best – I think. Afterwards the substance slowly got taken out of them by people whining about “sexism” “cruelty” and other aspects of original Bond.

Connery was definitely the best – I think everyone agrees – but I still really liked some of the Roger Moore ones: particularly Man with the Golden Gun. Pierce Brosnan was well cast too.

I also liked Man With The Golden Gun, despite the bad reviews. Goldeneye was good too, but after Tomorrow Never Dies the movies just got ridiculous. By the time Die Another Day came out the franchise wasn’t doing too well.

I think we have still yet to see the perfect Bond on screen, the character Ian Fleming wrote has still not made it to film. Different actors have brought different aspects of the character to their portrayals but the character has never been all there in any of them.

The Craig era films have attempted to go into Bonds back story, and go back to basics. But the last fiasco, Spectre was laughable, a return to exploding buildings and imaginary cars.

The first Craig films were good because bond came across as more of a killer than a lady’s man, which is how he i think he should be. but they got more and more s~~~ty. They keep putting bond in fancy cars and suits when he is supposed to be an inconspicuous spy. but he doesn’t even spy, does he? he’s more like a cop with free reign.
