Are politics pointless?

Thanks to elections in the US coming up, politics are in the air. But I’ve largely realized that they are pointless. You can find where you stand on the political scale, but it makes no sense. They left and right are the two sides of the same gynocentric coin. Society does and has viewed men as disposable people, to be used up and thrown aside. Would you rather be waterboarded or have your finger nails ripped out? They both suck ass.

Not to mention, these people don’t give a f~~~ about the average person. Politicians are the top 1%, they don’t care about high gas prices, as long as their world is fine they don’t give a f~~~. I’d rather have Trump than Hillary, but I don’t particularly like either one of them.

When I grew up I realized at the age of 12 that politics was basically a circus, the politicians are the clowns, and the head of state is the ringmaster… It didn’t make sense to vote back then, and it still doesn’t. The majority of voters are idiots.

Voting is entirely worthless. I am never voting again. Its all predetermined behind closed doors. Trump is not a hero. If he was he wouldnt be on that stage at all. No real change will ever happen everyone is too caught up in the left vs right bulls~~~ that goes nowhere ever.

Hillary is a murderer and Trump might be as well.

Same here. I didn’t like any choices when the candidates first announced they were going to run. I’d rather have Trump as well, but I just wish better choices overall were available. Which makes me avoid getting into politics all the more.

Plus, like Keymaster always says “voting is just giving someone consent to govern you.” I don’t want anyone to govern me, which is why I don’t vote.

In the end, the politicians are all in the pockets of the 1%. They’re going to do whatever is best for the 1% and f~~~ the rest of the 99%. What happens to past presidents? They all retire to Caribbean islands because they made HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS taking bribes from banks and corporations while in office. It’s all such utter BS.

Yep. It took me longer, but I came to the exact same conclusion.
