Are men really dropping out?

One of the things I always hear is how men are dropping out of society. This is wrong. I am beginning to think Men , in general , are not dropping out so much as they are being forced out.

Sure men are going MGTOW, but what about at work or college. Females are displacing men.

Does anyone else see this or am I off target here?

I agree, as much as we wish it wasn’t the case, most men are blue pill. Economic pressures are far more responsible for a lot of these shifts than some sort of enlightenment on the part of the average man. MGTOW is still small, although it is growing. Still compared to the blue pillers, we are a tiny fraction.

OldBill or someone else I remember made a distinction it the Japan thread between MGTOW and herbivore. I would extend that even more to MGTOW and displaced in the West.

you could look at mgtow as a way of forcing men out, or rather as a result. All a matter of perspective I suppose. I never would have gone my own way if there were reasonable alternatives. but every other way is a mine field so, there’s really no logical choice otherwise.

I was thinking more along the lines of females in positions of power in a company have a choice of laying off men or females, and they lay off the men.

Colleges admitting more females than men on purpose.

Here in the UK the political parties have a bee in their bonnet about hiring more female politicians. I think you’d only have to show an interest and your in. Whether you’d be a good politician isn’t important. Then of course their main agenda is recruiting more female politicians.

Women are so bad, if they changed the law so I kept the house, I still wouldn't marry one. I'd rather be homeless.

Give it time. Hell I only heard about MGTOW around a year and a half ago, and I was deep in chan boards. It normally takes society around 5+ years to catch up with the crazy s~~~ I am in.

I agree with Hitman. Men are both dropping out and being pushed out.

I also think that we live in the era of the anti male. The perfect storm of political correctness, unchecked feminism, and bigotry against men (pushed by the media).

I don’t think that things will ever even out over the course of our lifetimes. I think that social mores are going to continue changing for the worse. Men have not even seen the bottom yet. My son is only 5 and I have started to have to teach him that it’s not his fault for being a male. He’s already had a couple events happen at school where a girl lied and got him in trouble and he’s confused as to what happened. I had to tell him to avoid her and don’t talk to her even if she says something to him. These are scary times. I’m just glad that I make enough to bring the pain in the court room if I have to.

What I think happened was that men and women were getting along, the men worked and the women took care of the home and didn’t have to work.

Then some crazy housewives with personality disorders decided that their suburban home was a guilded cage and their husband was part of some far reaching subliminal male cult that kept women in their place by ritual rape.

These ladies said that women needed men like a fish needs a bicycle.

Now they had little girls and these little girls are not getting married and having children. Raised on man hate almost half of all pregnancies are now to single mothers. No father in the picture.

Then we have the latest economic downturn hurt men so much more than women they call it a mancession. Women are working and a new study from Glendale California showed that among full time employed persons women make 5% more than men.

This has freed men from the drudgery of family life. We are not invited to the party so no need to feel guilty.

Men no longer have to protect, provide, shelter, feed, send to college a family that secretly resent him for taking care of them and removing their agency.

All we need to do is take care of us and keep all the extra for ourselves.

I think men are not so much dropping out as running like hell from the plantation cause they are free at last, free at last.

Naturally the women blame the men for leaving.

It’s true there are attempts at quotas in some fields that are massively male dominated (because they are difficult), but for the worthless generic liberal arts majors, men simply aren’t applying. Or they’re seeing the writing on the wall with student debt for a worthless degree and bailing for the trades or something else after just a year or so.

If men are being “forced out” it’s only from places where they really don’t want to be anyways.
