I read a news article about a teenager that made thousands of dollars repairing iPhones. Why discourage a kid from learning a skill that will help him survive? Some of these tech executives are control freaks.

Consider all the refurbished computers that have been sold online. I’ve bought one. Will the computer companies sue those manufacturers too? It’s insane.

As a guy that works in the tech field, does repairs and music, I had to tell a ton of customers to just switch over from macs and get a PC or even linux for production environments.

Oh well. More money for me. Does not BOTHER me.. But I figure some of you guys that use apple products should be aware of the repair issues. Sometimes Apple care will not cover your ass.

I have been seeing more people getting burned more and more lately. As Usual, if I can save you guys some money or headache, thought it is a good idea to pass the word.

Thanks for the info Mickey. I use an iPhone 7, I bought it before I knew how much of a crapple it was. Next time I will go for another brand. Do you have any good smartphone recommendations? I have a lot of good music bought from iTunes that I need to get saved before switching. I’m really ignorant when it comes to smartphones.

I’m looking for advice on another issue as well. I recently found an iPhone 7 on a gravel road, while out for a walk. After charging the battery, it works perfectly, despite it being a little wet and covered in sand. It is locked of course and I really have no use for it. I know they are worth a lot. I’m not sure what I should do with it. Should I take it to a phone company like Verizon and let them try to return it to the owner somehow. Should I keep it? The owner must have had a bad day when they lost it but surely replaced it by now, as it looked like it had been sitting on the road for some time. What would you do with it? I don’t want anyone to think I stole it.

Build a pc and you will be impressed how much better it is. Apple creates the illusion of futuristic products with 2nd rate hardware.
