I was reading this article regarding a claim from a woman that Bill Cosby molested her at the Playboy mansion in 1974 when she was 15. I actually quit reading the article after she mentioned that she was at the Playboy mansion at the age of 15. I’m not buying her story and if true, why isn’t Hugh Hefner being investigated?

So let me see if I get this straight.
At the ripe old age of 15, she falsely represents herself as an adult woman in order to gain entry to an ADULT ONLY establishment.
This indicates presenting false identification or having an accomplice commit perjury to facilitate this act of fraud. Nor did she at any time identify herself as a minor.
She purposely misled all others present regarding who and what she was for her own personal gain and satisfaction.
She is the perpetrator not the victim.

We also need to remember that things were much “looser” in the 70s and especially in the early 70s. Cosby’s use of party drugs like quaaludes is as screamed about in 2017 and it was joked about in 1977. In 1974, a known 15 year old would have been escorted off the property, but a known 16 or 17 year old? As I tried to explain, society wasn’t as ID happy in ’74 as it it now. No one was passing through a TSA security checkpoint to get into the Mansion. Also, one of Hef’s parties at the time might involve a couple hundred people.

Hey Old Bill, thanks for clarifying how it could be possible for a 15 year old girl to wind up at the Playboy mansion. I probably should have taken into account how crazy the early seventies was, but then again I wasn’t born until ’77 so I don’t have a grasp on how things were back then. If Cosby did molest her there, I don’t know how it will proven beyond reasonable doubt.

I do want to bring up an observation, an interesting coincidence.
1. Cosby’s case ends in mistrial.
2. Cosby then plans on doing a tour on the issue of false rape allegations.
3. Cosby is now accused of a 1974 sexual molestation.
4. Cosby’s lawyers then had him cancel his plans for his false allegation tour.

I don’t know if the 1974 allegation was set up as a way to stop Cosby from doing his tour, but it’s certainly an interesting thought.

While his lawyers wont admit, the new charges in California necessitated the tour’s cancellation. Cosby had announced his speaking tour in front of groups which had previous invited him before the judge in LA decided the trial there could proceed and set a date. There’s no way his lawyers are going to allow him to speak off script in public.
