Anyone used to listen to The Don and Mike Show?

They were syndicated nationwide out of WJFK in Fairfax, Va.; they were on from ’85 to ’08. Their content rivaled Howard Stern during the “shock jock” wars. I personally liked Don and Mike better because they seemed to have better chemistry, which also included frequent involvement by the rest of their crew: Robb and Buzz; along with other station staff: Charles Broyhill, Lisa Herndon, Timmy Obibinae, Ken Stevens, etc.

They held one of their “Las Vegas Style Shows” near me back in ’99. They played all the explicit calls that they couldn’t play on the radio, along with the underwear fashion show, and the Monica cigar contest (which comprised women getting on stage in front of everyone and shoving cigars up their p*ssies) amongst other “contests”; oh, and I just remembered the lesbian/homosexual contests where one chick went down on another on stage…with the receiver FACING the crowd. And no, they weren’t too ugly, not that it mattered since most everyone was pretty liquored-up at that point in the show. Oh yeah, beer was available upon admission too.

Some of their bits still crack me up – like when Don does a Karen Carpenter tribute by playing one of her hits and simultaneously plays vomit sound effects over it; I almost pee my pants every time I listen to that bit!

Well MG, I guess nobody heard of the Don and Mike Show, myself included, but then again I abolished TV and terrestrial radio, among other things!

Never heard of it as i was far more into Opie and Anthony and they had their own thing known as sex with Sam (a bunch of people having sex in public places and calling in about it contest style to get to go to a beer factory). And when it comes to the style of the show it was far darker then Don and Mike for the fact that it was on uncensored radio after about 2002 till the end in 2014.
