I will never forget the moment I first heard this song play on the radio in 1994. I was with my ex and two of her best friends driving and this song started playing and when the first words were “Don’t want no short dick man” I was like wtf is this s~~~ and of course the girls started laughing their asses off.

Then they started to bob their heads to the tune and really get into the music I felt so disgusted by their behavior it was one of many red pill moments for me even though at the time I didn’t really know it. We all know what their reaction would have been if some guy started to sing a song “Don’t want no tiny titty woman.” Fast forward to a few times we went out to clubs and these girls along with all the women in the club were very happy to bob their head to the rhythm and dance to the song they all got excited when it played.

Manfred Mohr told the Los Angeles Times that the point of the song was to attract attention. “We figured there were all these songs by men bashing women and treating women like sex objects. So we decided a song that turned the tables on men might attract some attention.”[2] According to the vocalist Sandra Gillette, the point of the song is to “strike back at all the women-bashing songs in pop, especially in rap.” [2] Some radio stations refused to play the song due perceiving it as misandric, discriminatory and ableistic towards those with microphallism.

Didn’t work out the way they hoped did it? Even today the bashing still goes on by various artists of different genders (we all know they really is only two) so in the end they got their 15 minutes of fame while making a few dollars. This song along with the women deserve a place in the litter box of history and that is where this topic belongs.

OMG that’s unbelievable coincidence. Just a few days ago, I remembered this song for the first time . . . in 20 years? I completely forgot about it and heard it in the car.

It was about 1994(?) when I was working as a part-time bartender in a hip nightclub, and when this song came on, the women went WILD. The dance floor filled up and the chanted “don’t want no short dick man”. . . and it’s such a dissonant, annoying tone – like chinese water torture.

I remember asking one of the c~~~tail girls who worked there ( who also liked the song ) if she would like it if the lyrics where “don’t want to no-tit bitch”…. or “don’t want no fat ass c~~~”.

Already red-pill aware — way before my time.
Working there was one hell of an education.
