anyone fly RC Plains need avice on new radio

I’ve flown in the past helicopters and plains and i sold my old set up for a months rent when traveling. It was a good trade the radio was old 72.4htz and i waned to upgrade anyhow. i was looking at Turnagy and frysky but want to fly lots of different platforms on one radio. have a small RTF (ready to fly) park flyer but want to fly a bigger platform what dose anyone suggest.

I had a buddy that was into that for a while. Too expensive for me though.

Maybe you should try asking on an RC model site. I understand that Futuba is suppose to be really popular…

All my 72mh radios as you know the frequency has gone public making it possible for reciever interuption with a resulting crash. Thanks FCC, this is the 2nd time I got f~~~ed on my radios!

Anyway I recently looked into it and found Spektrum is a great programmable system, my old stuff is futaba and JR, now everything needs replacing and I’m buying one master transmitter and programming each plane and heli as I upgrade the receivers.

I purchased Real Flight 7.0 RC Flight Simulator and it’s the biggest piece of S~~~! They cheapened it using a cheap Chinese wireless transmitter and DELETED THE F~~~ING FLAPS DIAL! WTF! I’m still f~~~ing p~~~ed just thinking about it! It’s impossible to land the f~~~ing jets or even fly the VTOLs’!

I’m gonna look into the Spektrum Flight Simulator and see if they ditched the flaps control, but I doubt it, may as well make the f~~~ing throttle a toggle switch! Un f~~~ing real!

I’ve been flying models since Kraft was the premier transmitter in a mustard yellow metal box. Heli is by far the one that taxes your attention to situational awareness, they can cut your throat back to your spinal cord!

I’ve got an older Futaba Interlink Elite controller for Real Flight 4.5. Why would they remove the flap dial? What do they have instead???

You have to go into the system and set flaps by using a binary switch, no more rheostat, flaps on or off 100%! I sent RealFlight a real nasty Email! Explaining what they already damn well knew!

Turnigy TGY-i10 full telemetry 10 ch

sliders for variable flaps. It has a touch screen i don’t know if i like that. Overwork the pluming and you stuff up the drain ya know. but i think that’s what i will go with

Probably to make it more likely that the plane will crash, so they can sell you another one. Nice people.

I like that! landing gear, bomb bay doors and rack, strobe lights, landing lights, spoilers, and RATO!

You could launch a space shuttle with that!

If you just get a simple 4 channel 2.4ghz transmitter with 10 model memory, that’ll be cheap and should do everything you want it to do. If I understand correctly, you just want something that will has basic controls since you won’t necessary be mounting on add-ons to the plane.
