I can’t stand playing music for a living anymore. I’m miserable and would much rather run the company and choose the gigs I play on. That said I still need to make a living and Ive been considering a coding bootcamp. It’s a 6 month course, full stack. I don’t know if I’ll have the aptitude for it but I’ve messed around with code over the years working on website CSS and HTML etc. It seems to me to be memorization different lines of code etc. I think I can do it in the money seems good and opportunities seem flexible.

I’d love to hear from some men Who either do this have done it or not something about it. Thanks.

I’m doing a 4 month course in network admin.

Go to http://www.codeacademy.com and work on some projects. I have been on code academy since May 2017.

How has it been for you? I know it’s easier then ever to learn/get into coding but learning this s~~~ literally terrifies me. I still have you the stigma from having boring ass instructors who all made it out like if you didn’t understand your curriculum it was because you were retarded. I know its bulls~~~ and that they were just bad teachers, but it’s def kept meaning away from any type of programming.

I’ve done some codeacademy classes as well, but not on coding, on system administration type stuff. Some instructors are decent, some are boring as hell.

But, I’ve done only the free versions. Perhaps the pay versions are better. THere are lots of courses out there online though… free and otherwise.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

Ive been working with Codecademy for a while now. While you can learn at your own pace, I find it difficult to retain all the math needed. I one of those guys who sucked at algebra and excelled at geometry. I guess thats why i’m a designer by train.

Try it out. I hope it works for you. There is good money to be made.

Why do you need math to memorize lines of code??

As a MGTOW any bootcamp will be a complete torture for you, nowadays more and more millenials/SJW are trying to get into the industry, you will feel frustrated with their bulls~~~.

Do it alone, I don’t know about your background in music, but there are several ways to put that in a good use in your new career, remembers, code is just a tool for a greater good. No matter what you do in the area, you will do it for a reason, you know how music industry works, or maybe how instrument works, some backend + frontend skills, you can write systems to help those in the industry, or learn some electronics + some math (fourier transformation and others) + any language that can be used in embedded software, and create some amazing pedals for guitars/bass.

Remember that what you will ever do in the industry, will have a purpose, you can be a fullstack, but you won’t be able to do anything, unless you know what to do in the means of “what will be my final product ?”. Try to use as much knowledge that you already have in this new journey, it will be really handy.
