Has anyone purchased a gun from Gun Broker? Do you find any savings going through them? Looking for a new pump action shot gun as well as a secondary pistol to my DE.

The gun shops around here are just way too expensive. I think I save on the tax too.

    Open for advice on options.

If the gun is from a state that does not have a retail presence in you state you can save on sales tax. You have to pay for shipping. Gunbroker is not the cheapest due to their high fees to sellers.

Yes I have had repeat good experiences at gunbroker. Prices were better there than the shops I visited.
Besides auction sale price, the only extra costs are shipping plus my local ffl fee.

I will also check out the other links you’ve listed Old Rottweiler, thank you.

Thank you for your input Stealth. Haven’t use them yet, but there is a gun I am eyeing if it doesn’t get too high.

I never buy guns new. I always buy second hand from regular people. Much cheaper, no tax, and I don’t even have or need a permit in my state unless I want to carry it around. I have a couple of guns for home defense and no one knows I have them. That way when the government comes knocking looking to confiscate everyone’s guns, they won’t come to my door because as far as they know, I don’t own one.

Just buy the gun from the site, ship it to the FFL dealer of your choice, go through some paperwork there, and presto! Take it home.

I have used a broker… It was because I was looking for a specific weapon..Many of the dealers in my area don’t carry what I was looking for.

Had it shipped to a local Ftl, and Bing-o Bam-o done!

gunbroker is generally good. buying online in my state is irritating because of the 10 round mag limit on pistols, so makes less sense to purchase those online since retailers sell the higher cap ones and I’ll need to pay to block off or buy new low cap mags

you can also look at individual retailers sites such as cabelas or budsguns. gunsinternational is another that does listings.

Main thing when buying on the internet is to be aware of your local store’s ffl policy and fees. online is generally cheaper with better selection, but shipping + ffl fees will eat into some of the savings.

This is a good site too. They generally post good deals ranging up to 1k. If all you’re looking for is a decent working shotgun and semi auto pistol, you can get both combined probably for $500 if you wait for deals.
