A few days ago I was being picked by a friend and was waiting by the curb. I watched a woman (40?) walking uphill with her yoga pants and earbuds in. I was on a plane recently and after it had landed I saw a woman turn her phone on and go through her happn matches. She was very, very average, a bit overweight and not that pretty and every single one of these guys was a solid 8 out of ten. She was a 5 at absolute best yet she had her pick of these 8 out of 10 guys.

For women, everything eventually boils down to Alpha Fucks, Beta Bucks.

Don’t discount Looks(Looks-Money-Status(LMS)), RealityBites. They use men to influence their social standing among other women. This is why they want to drag you to all the family get-togethers. Penis and wallet size have nothing to do with this aspect, it’s about appearance. Like Tom Cruise being drug around in C~~~tail by the rich broad.

Guys, you aren’t getting the point of online dating. It’s a different market. You won’t meet the woman that will drive 300 miles to f~~~ you in rock climbing class, or the one that will fly 2500 miles. Quality on average is higher and time spent is lower IRL, but to flat out say online dating is s~~~ versus real life I think shows a lack of understanding of the market.

Definitely. I browsed for males once just to see and yeah…definitely way more men then women around my age. Also…a lot of them are obviously full of s~~~ in their profiles, so if you are honest in yours you are putting yourself at a disadvantage. It seemed like a hell of a lot more guys on that site were 6 foot tall with an athletic build than the % of the population I see in real life that are 6 foot tall and athletic, and it seemed like a lot more guys on there had awesome jobs vs people in real life that seem to have awesome jobs. I’m under no illusion that women on these sites are honest in their profiles…I’m just saying…you are pretty much competing with a bunch of bulls~~~ters for dishonest women lol.

Yeah…I also came to this conclusion. I find co-ed leagues are a much better place to meet people…whether it be softball, volleyball, flag football, or any variety of gathering. People at these kinds of events tend to be somewhat athletic, so for starters you’ll find less land whales than you’d find in a lot of other places. You also have the added benefit of going out and playing flag football or whatever for a couple hours after work, which is a hell of a lot more fun than trolling dating websites getting ignored more often than not while sending out emails that basically do nothing but feed some c~~~s ego. Plus you get to meet cool people that like keeping active and going out and doing s~~~, so even if you don’t get any dates, or aren’t really looking to date, its still a great way to meet active people if you just want to find some people that are probably into other fun s~~~ as well, like hiking, biking, going to the beach etc…I know over the years a lot of my buddies I used to do such things with have moved away for jobs or just turned into bums who don’t want to do anything but drink/smoke weed, so its nice to find some new people just to do s~~~ with.

If you are looking for dates though, I find that the rule of thumb at such events are if the chick doesn’t ride in with a boyfriend/husband there is about a 99% chance she is single and looking. Girls pretty much only show up because their partner does and they are “interested” because he is(in other words, they want to keep an eye on him because they know its co-ed), or because they’re looking for some dick.

I don’t know about you but there wasn’t a single woman I wanted to date on pof in Toronto. Mind you the matches are limited.
There are some women who never had any kids but most of them have. Usually by their mid to late 40’s their kids are all grown up.
Believe it or not it’s much easier to meet younger women in real life, at least for hook ups. One thing I noticed though is that Asian woman are that approachable.

I tried the POF website for 2 months. I am 30, not exactly in your age group but more of the same. I put up a few pictures of myself, my pet, etc. Figured “Hey, let’s try to meet some new people”. Oh, I met some new people alright…..

Upon joining, I was getting plenty of the “Someone Wants to Meet you!”. I would not pay for the service so I could not see who was “swiping” Yes for me. I did not initiate any contact (I was sick of seeing “my kids come first” and “where are the real men at?”), but did have 4 women message me first upon the week. Do you want to know the best part? Since I was not looking for a women to date, I simply made conversation with them. I guess from what I have learned, it is all 1 sentence replies, and dick pictures within the first few weeks. I ended up meeting one of the girls, who did not look like her picture. In fact, she was probably 20-25 pounds heavier. We met up for ice cream and went by a causeway and talked for a few hours. Cool, I thought.

Then…..here it came- “Hey, it’s not a big deal that I am on medication, right?”. . After our meet, I was not interested but still chatted. Then, a few days later she stopped talking to me and “blocked” me on the application lol. I do not know what happened between then, but I guess she was not interested. This one would send me selfies daily. What the f~~~, every day, selfie selfie selfie. Was one always on the phone, 24/7… Lived at home with parents, 26 years old I think. To sum it up, was a land whale unfortunately and it pretty much ruined my expectations of this gigantic waste of my time. “Don’t mind me, I’m crazy!”….WTF?!?!?!?! Well s~~~, at least you told me beforehand!

There was one other, that after about 9 texts….began to think we were something. I guess I got turned off after I was told “I had a dream about you last night, I don’t want you to think it’s weird”. And, after not talking to her for ONE DAY, I get the “Hey you, did you forget about me?” text. Then, the 5 paragraph message talking about how I should not be on here if I do not want to date, etc, etc, etc. Her pictures were from 2008. It was 2016. You are NOT “a few extra pounds”, you are OVERWEIGHT….. YOU BET YOUR ASS I BLOCKED THAT ONE lol.

Well, you get the picture here guys. Move along, nothing worthwhile is on the internet looking. MAYBE 1/300……is actually worth getting to know. MAYBE. It was an absolute joke, and to be fairly honest– a complete and total waste of my time. The best part was seeing some of the girls I used to know through school were on there…..still searching for “Mr Wonderful”. Hahaha….good luck. I am glad I signed up and gave it a shot, because I was constantly reminded that AWALT and it’s so sad to see it going downhill so badly.
