Yeah I’ve never bothered with Facebook Lurch. In the past I was tempted a couple of times. But then I heard about the guy who was banned because he dared to point out the errors in Emma Wattson’s speech. That’s when I knew it wasn’t a site that allowed individuality at all.

To keep in touch with family back in Australia. I only have family members on my friends list and have set up a closed group with them to share the odd photo here an there. Aside from that I have the privacy settings at the maximum values and ensure NOTHING is seen publicly.

I know the Zuckerberg gestapo can see everything in my account, regardless of what settings I use, but unless he’s interested in seeing pictures of my pets and the front yard, there’s not much they can profit from my data.

Last time I deactivated my farcebook account my mum was all, “Why can’t I see your photos?”…. *urgh* parents. AmIRight?
